  • we can't never forget Rafi or shami kapoor

  • man i love all shammi kapoor movies his movies were so entertaining he stated he never wanted to become a great actor but in a funny way he turned himself to be a great entertainer and he had a winning singer in his side rafi sahab together they created immortality r.i.p both men love from israel

  • Rafi- Shammi where they came from

    what an era that was

  • There was, can, will be only one SHAMMI KAPOOR! RIP! Miss you Shammi Saahab! :(

P.S...I am born in the 80's...Yet...he remains one of my fav Bollywood Stars...

  • amazing voice, singing style, and what a combination with Shammi Kapoor ji........

  • Album: An Evening In Paris

    Year: 1967

    Track: Diwane Ka Naam

    Singer: Rafi

    Album Star Cast: ShammiKapoor SharmilaTagore

    Track Star Cast: ShammiKapoor SharmilaTagore

  • RIP Shammi Kapoor

  • very romantic song by Rafi-------------- thanks

  • The french double decker could probably go underwater!

  • @demsdabreaks And stab some fish as well!

  • My mom says when the trailer showed this bit Deewane ka naam to poocho, the audience screamed as one "Shammi Kapoor"!

  • Miss you YAHOO MAN.

The real maverick of Hindi Movie Industry.

People say he was Elvis Presley of India..I say Elvis Presley was Shammi Kapoor of America.

    RIP..

  • Dearest Shammiji, my family and I are mourning your loss! You had electrifying effect in a non-digital Age!! God Bless your beautiful soul.

  • RIP Shammi 'Prince' Kapoor.......

  • i watch this movie more than 20 times n eoday our yv malaysia is still showing it

  • Wow great energy in voice wid melody. Rafi sahab zindabad

  • Mohammed Rafi Sahib was bigger then his life, no comparison, he is just unique and was one in million. It is a great lost for indian film industry and especially for his

fans living outside India, loosing indian culture. Great man he was!!! He was a voice of Shammi Kapoor, poem of Shailendra Singh and music of Shankar Jaikishan. Great people they were. Many thanks. Khushy100, Mubarak

  • I completely like the way Rafi pronounces "PAAARUSS" (Paris). Our people,

the straightforward honest voice. There are so many dimensions to the Hindi

movie, with so much real life issues, and love at the forefront. These 60s actresses n their saree's and covered dresses are so feminine and attractive. Rafi redefines Rock and Roll. Acting is not easy, and the way Shammi Kapoor

does his thing actually a immense talent he has. Guro Khalid of Filipino Eskrima.

  • rafi sahab, shammi , shankar jaikishan n shailendra out of the world.....rafi sahab perfectly matches shammi's style , gr8 music n fantastic lyrics....thnks for uploading this wonderful number....

  • Yes! Shammi Kapoor rocks!

This was his 'terrain'. No one could shake him in this style of songs.

    He was simply great.

Mohammad Rafi's voice - well -- you can never compliment this great singer the way he should. Simply magic!

    Sharmila Tagore is really beautiful.

    Shankar Jaikishan - Superb!

  • Never ever I can forget this song four decades ago as a School boy I saw. On a recent visit to Paris I relived those romance in mind humming this song from Raafi saab

  • different shades of rafi saab...a genius.

  • Excellent the songthe actors; I saw while studying at school. I was enchanted by the beauty of Mrs.Sharmila Tagore and Fabulous songs and Shammi Kapoor's dancing!

  • unforgetten great actor!

  • u rock laa, Shammi...

  • i like this song, and i like shamy kapoor , i like it ,i like it , ilike it , Gad bless him .

  • Who can beat this Uncomparable

  • my uncle who was in std 8 then says sharmila was so slim and hot after fatties like meena mala that she became the rage

  • damn! all Shammi's songs are so full of energy and romantic!

  • M.RAFI je

    superb.....

  • Mohammed Rafi & Shammi Kapoor,

    A DEADLY COMBINATION..

  • right....really owsome

  • shammi kapoor best

  • It is a combination of the total unit,Why break the issue,When everyone knows you cannot clap by single hand ,And even you do,It is not loud enough to strike others.Stop praising one person and look at it at a wider and open scope.

  • Its not about music directors. Music directors want a singer to do alot of things, harkat, upper notes, this that. At the end of the day what matters if whether the singer can do it or not. They sure made good tunes but Rafi saab was the one who was able to sing the way they wanted. i wish if rafi saab was alive today :(

  • Imagine Rafi singing Rock and Emo POp

  • @kingofheartsxyz any doubts?

  • @ashupawar u r absolutely right. had it been the case, Music Directors wud not have needeed any singers they wud've sung themselves.

  • Everyone here is only praising rafi in terms of the song. What about Shanker-Jaikishen? Rafi would not have been the great singert hat he was without Shanker-Jaikishen and OP Nayyar. The quality and quantity of songs by shanker-jaikishen was simply amazing.

  • If singer is the main factor, then all his songs would have been hit. But it is not the case. MDs and Lyricists are the originators of the song and quality of any song depends upon their design . Just listen to "Rasik Balama" from Chori Chori . Orchestra ( esp. Lone Violin) that accompanies Lata's remarkable song is stunning. I just wish the quality of recording was better those days.

  • Ye paris ki shaam suhaniiiiiiiiiii

    Waahhh superb rendition!

  • One of the beautiful songs from Muhamad Rafi...!! Love this movie, song, actors and ofcourse the scenes which were too good...!!

  • SHAMMI KAPOOR SAHAB gr8 actor of all times...

  • The BEST ever !!!!

  • Rafi ji was, is, and shall remain the best singer ever in the sub continent...He gave life to so many stars through his voice and yes for hiphop songs Shammi ji made a perfect pair with him. Shammi ji always wanted Rafi sb's voice and both worked hours together with the director and music director in perfecting a song befitting the situation...God bless those great ppl.....

  • reminds me of Louis de Funés in

    le corniaud 1964

  • Wow. I do not know what or who is better- everything and everyone is gorgeous: Sharmila, Shammi, singer (M. Rafi), music (Shankar Jaikishan), location (Paris), photography and direction. I go for Sharmila and Paris- pefect combo.

  • thanks for uploading all these golden classics....a trip down nostalgia lane....

  • rafi saab's voice from 3:59 to 4:14 is truly amazing........why are today's hindi film songs not like this??....the standard of hindi songs has vanished now-a days........

  • I am also an ardent fan of Rafi Saab & Shammi Kapoor combination ... those were the best songs made. And Sharmila Tagore was so "naazuq" ... wow.

  • shammi kapoor and mohd rafi are unbrelievably in sync..........always. Is there one song...............one song that kishore sang for shammi kapoor??

  • Yes, but later: "Saare jahaa ki amaanat hai yeh".

  • haha. by when he had grown a beard ! honestly. I was rolling on the floor listening to that song. It is so funny to hear kishore snging for shammi kapoor.

  • shammi like no other actor...good actor n good song

  • - Beautiful -

  • wow amazing outdoor shooting these days they only show actress in bikini during outdoor shoots and the singers voice is mindblowing :) now days we hear only music

  • Sharmila was gorgeous. That is the way to wear a saree. Her and Asha Parekh really looked great in sarees.

  • An Evening in Paris will always be remembered for its melodious songs, every one of them better than the other one

And in Rafi Saabs voice sone pe suhaga !!!

    Absolutely amazing song

  • Mohammad Rafi sang for Shammi Kapoor in every film he made before Rafi saab passed away. Directors knew Rafi saabs voice went very well with Shammi Kapoor hence he was the only playback singer used in all his fims.

  • I always found tht Sharmila looked her very best in the 60´s style n make up.

There are many scenes in AEIP, where she looks absolutely one a kind ravishing and fabolous, especially in the 60´s styles knees dress

  • lovely songs

  • Miss Tagore's ravishing beauty and chic style are the very definitions of DIVA!

The New York street term for her attitude during this song would be called THROWING SHADE...and she was totally FIERCE! lol

  • mr shammi kapoor had unique and interesting style.he expressed his emotion through his body language.shaking his head. moving his neck twisting his back.jumping.he should reduced his waist.......... good actor

  • After looking her worst in Kasmir ki Kali, Sharmila Tagore looked ravishing in An Evening in Paris. Mr. Kappor looked dashing too

  • i dont know why since i was young ive always liked this song.!

  • I know why.

  • I love Sharmila's bouffant. The 60s were so awesome.

  • magic .superb
