I have a question see I have locs that I started myself a year ago. When I started out my hair was in a very small afro and now my locs have grown to my ears. I really want to do different styles with it now but so far the only thing I do is either let it hang or twist it to the side and jewel it up. Do you no of anyother styles I can rock with the length of my locs now? I see that all of ur styles are for longer locs. thank you

I really hope I can find someone as talented as you. I live in Tarpon Springs, Florida and I want to be locked so bad. I am wearing a half wig. My hair is braided going back. I have some relaxer left. My new growth is just over an inch. The relaxed part is thin and uneven. I want to cut it this Christmas. I don't mind the short stage. I just want locks! I am trying to decide if I should start sisterlocks and maintain them myself or traditional lock? Any tips? : )

@trivie70 I say just go for it !!!! out with the old and in with the new . it is for the best cause you will do nothing but continue to damage it .half wigs can be really damaging . they tend to wear down the area they are positioned in...

what do you do to keep the twists together for the locks? my hairstylists uses rubber bands and they pop...and the bobypens hurt!

well i do use rubber bands but i double them and i use hair pens as well i also tuck a tie :)

Loved the styles...would like to see more of a variety for the ladies though...I saw alot of up-do's but no flexi rods or curly looks...I did see the curly look on the fella though..that was nice...

everyone has more that one texture. if you press your hair to often or wear it back a lot it starts to become trained .your hair is like your body if you work out you will see results.
