I understand and appreciate all the people who would have wanted to help the bat, but humans already interfere enough in nature in an ultimately negative way. The bat was clearly ill and disadvantaged and nature has its own proper way to dispose of such creatures. Humans helping other humans is all well and good, but we're better off keeping to our own species. You never see National Geographic running from the camera to save all those lame gazelles!

What a terrible way to go! For chrissake, I hope you put it out of its misery rather than watching it slowly die with red ants crawling all over it, chewing it up.
Put the bat on the grass, get a shovel and decapitate the poor thing.

I once saw little turtles hatching at Tortuguero National Park in Costa Rica, but the park rangers didn't let us do anything to help them. Not even when birds and coatis came to eat them. if the bat got away then loads of the ants would have died of starvation, same ways with humans eating cows and pigs, this video was put up for education and enjoyment so dont critisize, you saw the title of the video, if you didnt want to see it then dont click on it. its nature anyway.

@robster32118 Amazing video. The bat must already have been ill, injured or old because it would never lay down to the ground where the ants could get it. There was nothing you could do for the little batman. Never mind about the people blaming you for nothing. I bet those guys like to eat burgers or chicken. looking at it closely theres nothing you could do for the bat i mean its probably gotten most of its inside eaten out already, and if you tried to spray the ants with bug spray youll probably kill the bat too
