Hi, I'm running a Chevrolet Aveo 1.4 in Thailand - it is designed to run on E20 fuel - surely lots of the things in the video are already in my car, does anyone know?
u can run a lot higher compression with e85 or even better 100% ethanol with 115 octane = higher effective running engine and better gas mileage. all of the motors now are 8 to 1 or 9 to1 compression ratio just think if we all had 14to1 compression witch would be possible with ethanol we would have better ethanol mileage high horse power and less computers and junk in the engine bay easier to fix your own vehicle. but then the manufactures would not make as much money so keep screwing us.
I have to agree with the dislikes, this is truly crap. Ethanol doesn't need new fuel pumps, gas tanks, fuel lines, fuel injectors, valve's, cylinder heads, and anything else. It will actually clean up the engine since ethanol is a solvent and will clean out everything MW showed. The only differences to a flex fuel vehicle is how long the injectors stay open for, upgraded fuel injectors can be used and be more efficient, but they don't need to be. Please do your research by yourself, not GM.
Please, don't believe what GM said they are the one who dismantle our trolleys in the early days of L.A. coincide with the oil company. Now we have a jam pack of cars here........"What is good for GM is good for America" B.S.

of coars there friends a GM (Goverment Motors) whould love to sell you a new car or truck. i splash-blended 40% for 2 years then put on a conversion kit. i've been useing it for a year with zero, no, none, zip problems, since ethaonol burns 300 degrees cooler and burns cleaner i go longer between oil changes.
This guy or whoever wrote his script should be slapped...on most vehicles 1995 or newer just an estimate.. You would only need a tune and some you don't even need that...I have 2 ls1 camaros both on e85 for 3 yrs and no issues
The White Lightning kit works as advertised, I have one on a '99 Subaru 2.5 RS, smoother idle, crisper throttle response and more power with no detrimental effects. I have several friends who also use them with similar results including one with a VW Vanagon water boxer that will happily pull a hill in fourth gear that was always a long, third gear pull before. Gasoline has contained 10%ethanol for a number of years now with no ill effects.The Motorweek article is disinformation.
Stop duping the American people. The kits WORK. Don't listen to these ASSHOLES who would charge you an arm and a leg. Do your own HOMEWORK and STOP listening to these so called pros.
I have sold 1000's of e85 kits and I just renewed my 4 million dollar insurance policy for the 3rd year with no claims. I no longer work for GM or Ford as a master technician and backed with my ASE certification I would proclaim myself the only pro in the industry. Bush is gone and my New President "Obama" Loves these Kits and just bailed out your so called pros with billions of dollars. Your video is BS and irresponsible and I should hold you libel for this content.

Running E85 in my Volvo 960 with only bigger injectors and raised fuel pressure. GM just likes to make things complicated.

Those MF..rs don't wont us to use cheap bio-ethanol solution, but rather want us to BUY new cars with flex fuel engines.
Take a look at Brazil, they run 75% cars on E85 from 1970 with no problems.
