This is sad to me. I'm a 51 year old woman who lost her job and is likely to be living in her car in about a month. I'm trying to figure out where to go from here. I'm scared. But I trust that God will provide, so I won't lean on my own understanding.
Most folks aren't aware of how many of these transients do nothing but steal, burglarize, do drugs, etc. They often are a real blight. You wouldn't like them if they were in YOUR neighborhood.
Those cops aren't being heavy-handed or unprofessional. Find something else to complain about - this is a non-story.

@rjohson I volunteer every other week at Red Cross. I have helped many homeless families and people get back on their feet. I take for granted nothing that is each precious day I recieve when I am able to wake up. I have seen the bottomless pit of despair and anguish.

There's a mucipal code 41.18 (d) that states no one shall sit, lay, or sleep on the sidewalk between the hours of 6:00am & 9:00pm. People are quick to point fingers that's just human nature. Where are the cameras when these "homeless citizens" are smoking rock cocaine, shooting up heroin, selling marijuana, robbing other people, committing assaults?? No where. The leftwing groups pick & choose what to show & complain about. Give me a break.
