  • Unfortunately they need water to the LEAF at this point since they don't have a root system to drink. Thats a method i can't see working very well.

I simply mist my leaves and put a few drops on the rockwool every 48hrs and we are gold. I also only take LARGE clones from up high on the mom usually

  • @mpamphsloggi Which sort?

  • is using distilled water a good idea??

  • Nice job.....One of the better videos...

  • dude, thats definitly NOT faster than a water wand. pulling it out, putting it back draining..... it is cheaper though.

  • tap water works just fine u dont need all that ph level crap, just a wast of money

  • Strange this guy does not mention "misting" ?! Clones to start with have no roots to absorb water so need moisturing 2 or 3 times a day via a fine spray over the leaves (mega diluted sea-weed is good). Only when they have grown "baby-roots" can baby start drinking directly from its baby roots.. 75 degrees heating is best for clones (INSIDE the humidifier) and "cool white" flourescents are best at the baby stage, and as she grows so should the lumens increase in time to that new growth etc.

  • Making clones has always been a struggle for me, I will try your method for my med grow. I had the cubes sitting in 3/4' of water and the clones would be half dead before they sprouted roots.

  • @Phatbiker1 Hey Now, drop by my channel and hopefully you can pick up some info...Been batting 1000 in regards to clones... Good luck..

  • how about instructions how often do you mist them do you at all? if so what are they misted with and what ph the water should be during mist? or do you not mist at all?

  • How the fuck did i end up watching this

  • great tip bro

  • When do you know when to start vegging?

Its been two weeks and baby's not showing strong roots.

I am not currently using any nutes.

  • @ge4r1a5ldsayz temp is currently 65-69 degrees.

  • Clever, great job man.

  • cant u jst water the shit normally??

  • closed i meant 2 say there

  • when you say put the humidity dome back on and adjust the settings, obviously by turning it on but do you leave the vents on top of the dome open or cosed??

  • THE BABIES.

  • another idea i had for a heater was a fishtank heater in a plastic cranberry juice bottle full of water, them put the bottle in like a rubbermaid storage container and put about a 1/2" or 1" or so of water in the storage container and the bottle with the heater and then float the clone tray on it,or instead of a rubbermaid a wooden frame with a plastic liner with an icnh of water, ive seen it done as an incubator for mushroom jars before

  • so your not using a haeating pad?i was wodering if you think i could use my old waterbed heater i saved as a heating system,it has a dial to set the temp and a copper wire & probe for the thermostat,i was thinking i could get a tray that is big enough for about 2 or 3 clone trays to fit in & put the heating pad & the probe at the bottom, then put a plastic liner over it,like a trashbag or some plastic sheeting, like frostking window cover plastic, then put water in it&float the clone trays in it

  • A player can u send me some seed for free:)

  • shut up most of your videos should be towards the content not just your psyco babble

  • HOW OFTEN DO YOU WATER YOUR CLONES???

  • i have a question can they drown ????????

  • the plastic dome doesn't keep the plants from getting enough CO2? i always hear ventilation is key because without a fan or some sort of ventilation system they use up most of CO2, limiting their CO2 exposure and stunting the photosynthesis process..

  • Your a Fucking Genius!!!!

  • but what if you need to take a shit? then you need to take that bucket,2 trays, pot plants, and a cover off the toilet to take a crap. too much work man

  • I wonder if that "fresh air" you give them does anything..lol just bustin your balls man..nice vid

  • Where did you get that dome from

  • @ukpkmkk he made it ^_^

  • @ukpkmkk lol...no they sell them at hydro shops...even walmart for that matter!

  • I didn't macguyver grew bud

  • More crap to buy, but your methods seem very sound. I want to do this with soil in cups. Will get the rooting jel and that other stuff but dont have the money now for those other nutrients you mentioned.

  • hell ya i loved this tip so much i passed it on to my buddy who grows legal herb in fort collins colorado he usually mist his clones with a damn spray bottle.

  • Do you save the water after your done or flush it?

  • far too much water for those liitle cuttings

they dont need that much and will take even longer to grow as your roots dont need to find the water.

  • good job

  • fuck yes how u talk is how i learn nice video, thanks.

  • do you need to buy two trays ?

  • its a basically a really simple ebb and flow system.. Smart :)

  • try liquid seaweed in your tray & also mist with liquid seaweed

  • cool vid my man, great idea, thanks

  • out of the 45 clones how many rooted

  • @toddlse87 - almost all of them.. there's usually a few stragglers or ones that just sit there and won't go for a long time.. usually the only issues with rockwool is over watering which i had problems with at first being used to aero. This method is great for once your clones have started to root and are drinking much more rapidly. Don't try this too early and create a damping off issue or drown them. success rates will go down drastically..

  • how long should i leave them in lights before it makes roots, i have a 400 Metal high lite. Please could you help? how many days, how many hours of light and when it would be ready?

  • @devil42367 clones may take upwards of 10-20 days depending on root growth, maybe longer before putting into veg. 24hrs light / 0hrs dark during the clone stage, 18hr/6hr in veg. but everyone grows differently.

  • how often does it need watering every 24 hours?

Good video and good idea thank you

  • @SharkTheArdvark - sorry about the delay in getting back to you. normally with rockwool when the clones are young you would only water every 2-3 days while they are inside the humidity dome. Once they sprout roots they will use up the available water much faster and you'll need to water every 1-2 days depending on the cubes. The best way to tell is by judging the weight of the tray. The plants and cubes weight very little so water once the tray gets light. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!

  • I just wanted to clarify that you shouldn't be watering in rockwool for at least 5-6 days after you take your clones... water very lightly on day 6 with a dripper or syringe and then 2-3 days after that you can begin watering this way as the roots develop.. once they're busting out roots transplant or water every 1-2 days as needed.. I didn't make that clear and wanted to give everyone a heads up.. don't over water your clones, or any plant for that matter.. thanks for watching!

  • @Cannavation wat if they dry out (cubes)

  • why cant they stay in the water tray? kind of like a hydroponic system that is constantly surrounding the roots.

  • @Fatpaq - I wouldn't recommend leaving the water in the tray for any long period of time without some form of air stone or something in there to aerate the mix. While it might be possible it would most likely be too soggy for the plants to really thrive in rockwool.. drying out slightly in this medium is actually a good thing as it forces the plants to push roots further outward in search of water. If they sit in the water they may damp off or get rot of some kind. Aeroponics would be better.
