Handfeeding Budgies

how old were they or how old do you think is the right time to start handfeeding?

why were you handfeeding the babies? Do they have their parents? Are their parents bad?

They are so cute. I need some advice please. I have a baby budgie that just came out of the nest and after a few hours of being out the mother attacked it and was trying to kill it because there was blood so i took it out and put it in a cage on it's own. I think it may be about 5 or 6 weeks old now. It looks good and healthy but I haven't seen it try to eat any seed or drink water. Do I have to feed it by hand that bird formula or will it eventually feed on it's own. Please help.

This just warms my heart c: I remember hand feeding our baby budgies with my mum when I was 9, because the mother died a few days after they hatched. It was such an experience for me ^^

can you tell me how to get it in there mouth when they are really young before they understand how to swallow, mine are smaller than this

@fairbae you can take the out for handrearing at age 2 - 3 weeks and it will be much easier ;)

can u tell me what u r feeding them because i got 2 three week old parakeets and the mom died and theres only the dad and hes young and is he does not pay attention 2 them and the 3 week old parakeets r screaming they r very hungry ITS AN EMERGENCY WHRE DO I BUY THE FOOD
