LOL - We're sold Fosters in the UK as being the true Aussie beer - went to Oz and couldn't see it anywhere! VB, Tooheys and XXXX is their tipple. Bought a pack of 6 stubbies of VB in Tesco last week - brewed and imported from Oz - over a quid a bottle but lovely stuff.

This shit taste better than Bud, and doesn't cost too much money. taste kinda like Pabst Blue Ribbon on steroids. I can't afford to drink Bitburger all night, and I love Bitburger, but I am on a budget, and Fosters is some damn good shit for the money.
pure blonde is nice aswell :P but carlton on tap is the best local beer in melbourne thats what i'ld say anyway but different people enjoy different things so its best to try it all :D
XXXX Gold's and VB Heavies are the way to go.
