Even in patrol i couldn't shoot back, we had to confirm it was insurgents all time long, that was the gayest bullshit in my whole career. Once my cortege got attacked by IED and then insurgents and we had to call our HQ to ask if we were able to fireback, which took around 60-75 seconds, longest 60 seconds in my whole life.

i agree with you. i watched the movie and felt sick. I want to eventually get into the marines and when I finished the movie i was ashamed. i understand Hollywood can also twist the story to make it more interesting. I dont hate the iraqis for what they have done. because most didnt do anything. im lebanese myself so its a bit upsetting seeing arabs portrayed as criminals and terrorists. but this story just uplys the sad truth that many people in power, shouldnt be in power. thanks for watching

As an aspiring Marine myself, I for one am ashamed of those 2 fireteams that murdered that many civilians. I understand they did it out of anger for their fallen brothers, but I would not have retaliated in such a cruel, violent, and merciless manner.
