Always thought the desert temple music rocked socks. (starts at 5:05) Though quite different, it brings the feel of the Gerudo Valley bgm to mind, from Zelda OoT. Just has "Desert Ass-Kicking" written all over it. Both titles are chock full of great music though, IMO.
I always thought that if Mozart lived in our times and composed video game music, it would sound like this. Seriously, if you were to play these songs with a full orchestra, no one could tell the difference.
to garudoh i think you should edit the name sato to yuki Iwai she is the composer for gargoyle's quest II sato i think is her maiden name before she got married just a little correction you need to fix
Gargoyle's Quest was one of the very first video games I ever played, though I never was able to get past lvl 1 seeing as I was about four or five at the time and didn't have any gaming skills back then. I think of this game when I eat grape bubble-gum tape.
hahaha - great anecdote. i suppose the first game I played was lunar lander (first one i remember playing) and I guess I think of that whenever I eat dinosaur meat, since that's what was available at the time...
Yes, in the US he's called Firebrand. Gargoyle's Quest 1 was on the old Gameboy, 2 was on the NES, and then there was Demon's Crest on the SNES. Capcom shouldn't have been so quick to dismiss this series, I thought it was awesome.
Totally, I love Demon's Crest, although that insect-like flying demon boss (the one that has that hissing sound) is currently the bane of my existence. I haven't played Gargoyle's Quest, admittedly, I hadn't heard of it until I saw this video. But it looks great, so I'm definitely going to try it out.

Does anyone remember what the vials were for? I can't remember. It's been so long since I've played this. I loved it though.

I like the music for this game. It sounds a little bit like an 8-bit version of baroque music.

Is this a RPG in the ghost and goblins universe??? Music's really cool by the way. :D

Actually, pretty much yes. I actually prefer it to G&G.

So is Demon Crest included in this? The main character of this game is definitely the same demon...
