i seen a youtube video of one that goes severly out of balance on spin cycle with no clothes in it(tub completely empty)same style and all except the color,the off balance one i seen on video is black color with glass lid like this one. i got a kenmore stackable washer/dryer,mine is 2004 model(bought in year 2004)and only did 1 repair in washer,no repairs in dryer.
THIS WASHER AND DRYER SET IS JUNK. I HAD THE WARRANTY AND THE TECHS REPLACED ALL THE PARTS IN THE MACHINE. I REALLY MEAN EVERYTHING. AND WHEN THE WARRANTY WAS UP, IT STILL BROKE DOWN. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE ONES!!!
The Kenmore model you are seeing here was made by Whirlpool which at the time decided to use substandard parts in their washer models for Kenmore.
This didn't sit well with Kenmore and they have since discontinued the practice of working with Whirlpool and are now using LG and most recently Electrolux for washers with the Kenmore brand.
I know this because I had one of these exact same washers from 2 years ago and they have finally replaced the washer with a new washer of my choice.

@72Heidy That's because it's new technology and they are using the public as guinea pigs to work out the defects. So much for consumer protection. They need to have a class action lawsuit thrown at their asses. The old Kenmore (conventional center post top load) machines don't have problems, cause that's a tried and true technology that has been around since the 1920s
@72Heidy kenmore makes nothing. the issue is kenmore is a sears product. the oasis, cabrio etc is a whirlpool design. and yes its a piece of shit. im a tech. and i never got more call backs on washers before this pos came out.

We have a Kenmore Elite as well, but ours has the standard type of agitator, this is the newer type. Which we looked at and decided there might be problems with it so we bought the standard one.
ok..I in infact of this model. When it works it's awesome. but I have had many problems for the past year with it. Error codes, beeping, not draining, not to mention start and restarts, plug and replug. It's only getting worse. Many people are having the same issue. This is a machine you don't want. Customer Service is awful. They aren't helpful. So far the dryer is working great! but the washer, I am at my witts end. The clothes are so backed up and there is water still in the tub.
ok don't buy this kind of machine you'll regret it! it seems too many people are having problems and no one comes forward to help!
