Just to say, I am a KOTD fan, and checked out the stream, but somehow watching battles is a lot less fun when you can't really tell who's spitting, if the guy who was just told he looks like elephants could cross breed with ceelo green is really that fat or any type of facial reactions from the judges/hosts/battle rappers who are called out. Then again, it could be a trick to let us pretend that HFK's personals hit without having to disregard everything about his opponent.

Plus, Organik puts in alot of work and money to organize these events and get all the rappers there. I can totally understand him not wanting people recording it and thus hurting product sales. Battle rap isn't exactly super lucrative. Grand Prix 2011 had a 5k grand prize...not 5 mil...so every view and every dollar matters.

Most battle leagues I wouldn't be interested in a PPV but KOTD has been doing great things lately and I think they deserve some support. Clearly alot of effort goes into every aspect of this shit and most other leagues can't fuck with the professionalism and consistency that KOTD has become known for. I'll gladly pay $15 for this, more as a show of appreciation than anything else. I hope it doesn't disappoint though as that'll definitely turn people off the idea, best of luck with it!

I am perfectly ok with this!! To be able to pay and watch the battles live vs 2-4 weeks later is worth it. I pay to go see occasional live events in Calgary, some are good and some not so good. I'll gladly pay a little to see the battle I really want, online or live.

Using a screen recorder for the computer or an actual camcorder. Not that hard. So thats why hes asking people not to bootleg it and upload it before the release date.

@iron3624 the clicking problem was solved in the last half of the event, and this is also a totally different set up. The GZ event was for us to try it out and figure out what needed to be fixed in order to do a PPV. Thats why the first 3 battles are free, so people can see the quality first.

(I.E.- taking notes, jotting down schemes, patterns, angles, distinctive punchlines, etc.) Every time I see him break shit down, I never seem to doubt him because it's 100% accurate. I saw the guy do a fucking line graph for crowd reaction or some shit! Hahaha! KOTD should force their judges to abide by its rules or risk banishment!!! Haha!
