I watched this guy play at the Mid-State Fair in San Luis on the 24th. He's really good live. He's also a bass singer, because he went down to (I believe) D2, that's pretty low.

I saw him sing this song live, and I must admit it is the best version of this song. Raul Malo, even now, has one of the most beautiful and powerful voices out there. The recording is a little fuzzy, but it is good that his amazing performance can be shared. Each time I hear him sing, I miss the Mavericks a little more.
