hmmm, i think watching movies in spanish with english subtitles would be the fastest way for me to learn.... unconciously hearing to the same words and reading who/what/where/were/who is it/where is it/ etc.. a lot faster learning and you dont have strain and overwork yourself ... its more enjoyable^^

Comprehension comes much faster that the ability to speak properly. I may well understand the answer without being able to remember how to ask the question correctly. There is evidence of that phenomenon even in English classes with American born students in American schools. That is nothing to "LOl" about.

@classico6788 They both are similar, but Spanish is a bit more complex, because of the mix between other languages like the arab, german (because of visigoths) and also slavic (not so much) and strange vocabulary and verbal forms. Italian is a more pure language because its just an evolution of latin. Also, spanish pronunciation is very neutral, not like the italian. So, i think Spanish is more difficult, but its a very beautiful language, you should try it : )

@classico6788 well, spanish is the brother language of the italian so we understand it, we have some difficulties but we can understand and mantain a conversation, because if you talk slowly in spanish to an italian he will understand you and viceversa. But spanish is more practical because, as you said, it has more speakers worldwide than italian.

"¿Cuál es tu nombre?" (Yes, you have to use two question marks, and yes, there is a reason for this)

" ¿Cómo te llamas?"

If you ask a Mexican "¿Qué es tu nombre?" he or she will understand something like "What thing is your name?" which, of course, has no sense.

In spanish we use "¿" when we start a question because in spanish phrases aren't differents when are affirmatives and when are interrogatives, we only know if the person is asking or not a thing for the pronuntiation of the phrase and we write the interrogative pronuntiation whit "¿" when start the questions. For example: Estás borracho (you're drunk) but ¿estás bprracho? (are you drunk?)
