  • description says 'man' and all i see is a cheeky tosser!

  • I want to get this but why would they make a camcorder without a headphone jack?

  • great video man, you used the right musical choice too, it kept the intruigment going as to what may be found...it was just the right formula! some of the cam pans were slightly fast and the one pan on the chair wasnt as smooth as it could be but it was a great video non the less. keep it up and youll go far! get a good panhead tripod for smoother movements and thatll take care of the smoothness of panning! does your camera do good in low lighting or does it look hazy? just curious on this cam.

  • @dirtyjew1974 Check out some of my more recent videos. This video was shot practically the day I got it lol

  • lucky ass who got to use that house!!! i wish i had those oportunities!

  • is that an option on the camcorder menu

  • i wouldve gotten at least one shot of his whole body in frame

  • Yeah, ha. Immediately I was reminded of "I Am Legend." I guess because you copied the soundtrack. Ha. But I also use SVP and I achieved a superb film look by adding the post edit letterboxes which you have done. But I tried the 24fps I think and it suffered the quaity so I changed it to something else. Can't remember. But also go to film affects, add grain, umm .040 I believe and dust particles .0165 or so. And add warm tone filter. Really helps. Also consider a tiffen filter.

  • Wow that must have been one hell of a party.

  • Converting to 24fps ruined the quality? Or just bad compression. i think the picture is too red, use rgb balance to reduce high and mid reds.

  • Hi! J'm work on this camera! Its good camcoder, all materials on my youtube channel was made on gz-hd7...May be somebody could say something about 35 adpaters for this camera - how it work in practice? Anyway , Good Film Look Effect,Best Regards

  • is this a 2.40:1 aspect ratio?

  • Yep.

  • What really happened to that house?

  • It was being demolished at the time. It's completely gone now though.

  • there was an aids monkey attack

  • How did you acheive this look on the HD7? Did you use any filters or adapters?

  • I am legend theme

  • is that i am legend? love that music nice job man

  • well done, i like my Hd7. with good editing this thing is priceless.

  • well done. good editing. I posted another video response of my original music. I'm on MySpace, Padraic Lynch also if you want more details. Say hi to the windy city for me. All the best, Padraic

  • should i buy this one or the Vixia HF-11

  • I'm trying to decide the same thing! GAH! :(

  • here is my opinion. if you want a good camera for film making, choose the everio. it has more manual settings and controls for adjusting the right picture.

  • pezzi i puppu ca nun arrispunni facci i minkia

  • i...i have a camera everio hd7... who used software of montage?

  • Did you use colour correcter secondary or the first one? Or a different tool?

  • first one.

  • Could you possibly message me for a list of instructions on how u created this look?

  • they key is to not overdue it. good lighting when you film is also very important. turn up the saturation just a slight bit. and increase contrast slighly. its pretty much a click here and see what happens but you get the hang of it slowly. there are some other videos ive posted of past attempts which suck. this one's not quite there yet iether

  • Nice use of I am legend music :)

  • yea but theres a software it came with called power director and power cinema. i use those two softwares to convert those files. its a pain at first but once you get the hang of it its fairly easy.

  • I think your right, because your camera is actually more of producing films and it has alot more features, but does your camera put it in .MOD files also?

Thanks, PS- how much did you buy the cam for?

  • Where would the mic plug in on the camera? But what it is, is theres not even an audio layer track, when i import any .mod clip..

Thanks alot for helping me man.

  • no problem. glad to help. you know this could be different a bit because you have a different model camera than i do. you might not have an input for a mic. like your mic is built into the camera. i wouldnt think its the camera but you probably will need to convert the file to something other than .mod because vegas is not recongizing the audio track.

  • A mic attachment on the camera?

  • yeah its optional though. i have one and for the longest time i didn't know why there was no sound. the mic was off lol.

but anywho if you dont have a mic make sure sony vegas doesnt have the master volume on mute or turned odwn really low

  • Hey, im thinking about getting one of these cameras, is it still in the .mod file format? Because Sony Vegas 8 Pro will not support the sound for the .mod file on my everio mg-155.

    Thanks! (5 stars)

  • it wont support the sound? that's awkward...if you have the mic attachment make sure the mic is on.

  • can you please tell me the name of the video editing software program you use to give your video the "Cinemascope" or "Film look"

Good work with the video btw a interesting location

  • Sony Vegas 7 Pro

  • coulkd you tell me how to do this like widescren top and botom cut of thing please like cinematic

  • well the camera automatically shots in a 16x9 format

  • shoots* and if you want you can always crop it in a video editing software program.

  • ....im not buying one if thats what your getting at lol

  • I actually have a JVC everio GZ-HD7 for sale right now:D

The video on my profile tells everything about it and where the ebay auction is
