  • I like this video Hiroko..

    You are wonderful..

The opening video makes me laugh lol

    Very funny..

Thanks, you've made me smiles after crying so much :-)

  • Hiroko is majorly cute.

  • tetten

  • something bugs me that they said your name sloppily. >:

idk, i'd try my best to pronounce things correctly.

  • makes me proud to be a Swede :')

  • That must be some drink if it's that expensive. The mug/glass is made of ice too right?

  • That place looks amazing! I think there is one where I live, but I'm not sure where...

  • wow,i'd love to go to a place like that ^^ it's very cool(no pun intended, but still funny lol).and i don't think it's weird not to drink alcohol,i hardly drink any myself

  • Awww i wanna go and be freezing cold and waste 35 dollars on a drink i'm only going to ''expel'' later on! LUCCCCKKKKYYY!!

but seriously it looks UBER cold!

  • Comment removed

  • brrrr its to cold! lol dont drink myself either, well only 1-2 at xmas and 1 on my birthday

  • lol it's so cute how u switch between english & japanese while speaking<3

    kawaii^^

  • Im relieved you dont drink alcohol, actually! Its nice to know there are people in Japan who dont drink. Id hate to one day visit or even live in Japan and be treated like an outcast because I dont drink alcohol. As I watch more videos on Japan, im getting the feeling that Japan is more alcohol obsessed than the US, but that could just be coincidence. A lot of the people who make videos on Japan are drinkers, but that doesnt mean every Japanese person is.

  • @LotusDragon09 I wouldn't call it alcohol obsessed however know that in relationship settings you will have to drink as a matter of courtesy whether thats between friends, junior to senior, boss to employee, typically many business settings, etc etc. Its built into the Asian culture in general not just Japan so hard to get away from it. Some people will not do business with you or your company unless you drink with them. Strange to us but normal for them.

  • Try being a American man in which its considered an abomination if you don't drink beer. Dr. Pepper for life!

  • i cant imagine paying 35 dollars for a regular drink

  • Looks like a pretty chill spot...(pun intended). Yeah I know- gyagu ga samui! gomen nasai.

  • that looks pretty cool thanks for showing :)

  • this is silly, industrialized nations with too much money, lol

  • Really interesting- cool idea but in practice, c'mon an ice bar is about as silly as a bar made out of fire- ha-

who wants to freeze their ass off while enjoying a drink??

  • its not strange if you don't drink acohol.i drink also no alcohol.great video.where is the icebar?i wan to visit it next year

  • Konnichiha Hiroko san!

Don't mind others about you not drinking alcohol!

I sometimes drink alcohol, but I personally believe there are a lot of drinks which taste much better than alcohol

I really don't get why some think it's obvious that everyone drinks alcohol, or it not being normal for someone to not drink

  • nice music their ... ... ... ..

  • @sario22152

yeah some nice ambient/deep house music. too bad bars in L.A. nowadays play awful ironic hip hop/rock mash ups!

  • do you know you look like ayum hamasaki ?. and ture ture grape juice much much batter than alcohol. ps for the ice cup put lipbom so you know....... matane

  • Wow, really interesting! For that price, I would still definitely check it out as a once-in-a-lifetime kind of thing with friends :)

  • Quite interesting. I admit it's rather expensive but I would go there to check it out and buy some drinks. It's not like you can find ice bars everywhere.

  • If you're in Tokyo as a tourist or for work why not go just for the sheer novelty of it all. No one says you have to get drunk there. That is what bar crawls are for prior to going to establishment like this.

  • why don't you drink alcohol?

  • i just don't, and don't even think that's weird.

  • i didn't say it's weird, i was just curious if you had any special reason for it.

  • sorry! i was just annoyed by people telling me it's weird that i don't drink! ;)

  • I thought i smelled an angry scent around your comment, but I said I shouldn't draw any conclusions too early so I assumed it was just the absecene of your vocal tone as it happens with written comunication....but it seems Hiroko is indeed EVIL! MUAHAHAHA >:D

  • Finally! Someone understood True me! lol

  • @HIROKOCHANNEL Hi, Hiroko, I'm trying to talk to you but my words are gettign cut off on the RIGHT BY YOUTUBE!!!!!!!!

:-) Anyway, enough on that subject...for now.

I don't drink either. I worked in a chemistry lab for eleven years and I can't smell alcohol (ethanol) without thinking of chemicals. It's an organic solvent and I can't imagine that it's good for anyone to drink it.

  • 私もビルのみません

    ill keep you 暖かい

    ひろこサン : )

  • Why is that so weird that she doesn't drink alcohol? Lots of people don't drink alcohol.

  • Thanks for showing, I want to visit here

  • used to live 20km from where that ice was born. Rember seeing alot of japanese turists in the wintertime.

  • Sounds like Nino is with you. Doesn't the ice cup freeze your lips?

  • why do you only drink grape juice? are you a recovering alcoholic?

  • why? i like grape juice much much more than alcohol. i don't like the test of alcohol.

  • some people like alcohol some people like grape juice. so thats that

  • @HIROKOCHANNEL I dont like the taste of alcohol either, nothing wrong with that, this place looks great.すごいですね

  • @veuvecliquot Some people don't process alcohol well kinda like when you hear some folks avoid milk because they are lactose intolerant. In both cases this manifests more in the Asian gene pool than the rest of the world. Alot more Asians are allergic to alcohol than you would think. Some can drink Vikings under the table and some are the total opposite. 1 beer and their faces light up bright red. For these alcohol holds no glamor or draw.

  • @JinSage point taken. I'm just surprised cuz everytime I go to Japan my family and friends drink like fish and make me drink copious amounts of sake and beer. More power to her 4 drinking only grape juice but paying 3000 en for juice is a trip XP PEACE

  • @veuvecliquot Yep see my other comment. In relationship settings you will have to drink as a matter of friendship/courtesy whether thats between friends, junior to senior, boss to employee, typically many business settings, etc. Its built into the Asian culture in general not just Japan so its somewhat difficult to get away from it. Some people will not do business with you or your company unless you drink with them. Strange to us but normal for them.

  • wow that place is awesome!

  • This video is soooo cool. Literally. :-)

  • WoW japanese are really creative, i really aprecciate it

  • Even though I don't drink, either, that bar looks super cool!

    LOL, pun not intended! xD

  • Who's Micheal Ash O_o

  • I guess Hot coffee is not available , because it would melt the cup hahah

Hiroko-san we have an Ice Bar in Wisconsin it's called Winter hahahah

The opening to the video that couple pronounced your name Horrowko : (

  • haha your glass is made of ice, that rocks...I'd love to check that place out, but I'd never pay $35 for a drink...unless it was like the end of the world or something lol

  • $35 per drink is crazy! I would have only one drink and it would be the strongest alchohal drink ever.

  • I like her winter coat, it looks warm and comfy. Can I hide inside too? XD!

  • Very nice! I had never imagined a bar like that.

  • we have an ice bar in Hong Kong! but of course, Tokyo's is way cooler [:

  • Ah, also, there's an Ice Bar in Seoul too. :)

  • Wow that was really cool. I wish the video was longer though :(

  • Anybody who says they wouldn't pay 35 bucks to be in the ice bar has never been in Japan in the summer.

  • wwooooww i want to go there !

  • わっ!アルコールのみませんか? えらいえらい! ^^

  • thats cool, but dont your lips get stuck to the ice glass? :P

  • @burnzy3210 I think it's okey if the ice is below a certain temperature.

  • @burnzy3210 i thought this too XD

  • @burnzy3210

no that only happens with freezing metal I believe.

  • Thanks for showing the place, but thats not a place for me. I like to get drunk when i go out and 35 bucks is more like my whole tab for the night not one drink. But still it downs look cool.

  • Ice Bar is KOOL but Hiroko is HAWT !!!!

  • so, you pay alot of money to freeze , haha. I have a random question for anyone who can speak more than one language. Do you ever read and not be sure if you read it in english etc. because of the similiarities and so on?

  • every once in a while it happens with english and spanish

  • it happens to me with three languages, haha. On some of the easiest words too , hah.

  • @crippin798 No :>

  • I guess I just think in too many languages, hah.

  • Cool! I went to an ice bar in New Zealand, but I didn't know there was one in Tokyo too. The one you went to looks much more chic than the one in NZ. xP

  • Woah, that place looks awesome! I would go just to check it out, because even though it's expensive, it would be very interesting to be in a giant ice building!

  • I've been there before!!! it's FREAKIN COLD in there, but it's amazing! Yeah, the price is ridiculous considering you only stay in there for 20mins...... Worth going once, but .....

  • Wow, I remember reading about an ice hotel a long time ago. Amazing to see this concept applied elsewhere. Would love to go there.

  • I like opening is talking by foreigner, because Hiroko seems to be like an idol. Hiroko is everyone's popular person, but i , , wooo, im just yellow monkey in the world.

  • Holy Cow $35 dollars that is riduculous! I would not be drinking or eating anything there. Cool looking place though!

  • lol I thought you were going to say that the bartender was also made of ice! (^ω^)

  • Awesome. I'd like to go there... in the summer.

You know, it would be fun if there was a long ice counter, and the bartender sat waay over at the other end, and whenever you order a drink he would just push the drink and make it slide down the counter to where you're sitting. Some assistants could rub the ice with a brush to reduce friction and make it stop right in front of you.

  • a very COOL bar lol

  • The Ice Bar is really an amazing place. I can understand why it is so popular. Even at $30. per drink. I know this sounds wierd but all I can think about now is how uncomfortable the toilet seats made of ice must be. LOL

  • Ice art cost a lot.

  • I hear like people can only spend like 45 min a 2 hr period in there or something like that .

    Maybe that's the employees ...

  • Wow, that's expensive juice right there.

  • Prolly the same swedish peeps from the famous Ice Hotel in Sweden XD

  • When I went there, I could not find it. Hopefully I will next time I am in Tokyo.

  • Wow, I would never think of something like that!

  • Original and a cool place--pun intended. lol

  • 35 bucks xDDD ^_^ 日本の一番高いの飲み物ですよ はは

  • Ohh niiice! Here in Quebec we have a winter carnival and there's an ice HOTEL! You can visit their site by searching icehotel-canada on google. :)

  • you dont drink sakeeeee? ^^ How do they clean that place?

  • I live in Minnesota....you can have a ice bar 6 months out of the year here...and its free! Just bring you own booze.

  • OMG can you post a link about the location in Ginza?

  • "Berg" is german and means 山

you always make me wave back to you^^ haha

  • @yistgleichmmalxplusb Berg is Swedish and mean yes 山.

Swedish is older then German so we had it first.

  • I would love to go but.... the price.... 3,000yen is a bit pricy lol

  • Hirokochannel is so......

    ....

    COOL.

  • COOL! Both literally and figuratively =) !

  • That is very cool! I have never been to a place like that! Very cool 5 stars.

    REALLY expensive!

  • Is every bar in Ginza this "cool" ?

  • I'm from Scandinavia and your guys wasen't even close to pronounce "Arne Berg" the right way. Well... I guess that would be the english version of it, hehe.

It's hard to explain, but originally it's pronounced with a "æ" instead of "e" like "Arnæ Bærg"

    Good video :)

  • That outerwear looks so cute! XD

Looks like a neat place to go to.

  • Åke Larsson and Arne Berg

  • Åke Larsson and Arne Berg is the same people who have sculptured the Ice hotel in Kiruna Sweden.

  • wow i feel sorry for the staff he looks FREEZING!

but that is pretty cool man! i remember seeing a ice HOTEL once that was cool too

  • lol that was funny, whaaaat!

must have been freezing in there

  • Did I hear correctly, this is in Ginza? Amazing :) Is it outside or inside some kind of giant freezer?

Is it open only in winter?

    Quite literally a cool place...

  • 5 star rating for not drinking! hehe

  • ahh when i was in tokyo i thought about going but it's soo freaking expensive =D

  • Cool.

  • ...35 dollars or 35 what? what are they serving, liquid gold? :D I'm from sweden, know we got some icehotell or something here never been there tho... that place seem cool tho, but this year here in sweden we have had more snow across the country then I think I've ever seen in my lifetime so no ice for me for a while! :P Nice video as allways!

  • @murwaz

LOL! I know! My boyfriend's family is snowed in at his home town in Trollhattan. His grandmother has barely been able to leave the house!

  • Am i first? :o You looked coooold.
