  • I get goosebumps every time I watch or listen to a Saturn launch. Even though I've saw it hundreds of times this is the first I've noticed the shadow of the rocket on the top side of the clouds as it cuts through them (at 2:11 on this clip). That is sensational.

  • Talk about using a ballistic missile to go to the moon lol. Instead of a warhead on the top it had the command module.

  • @getalife67 Saturn V wasn't a ballistic missile. It was one of the first rockets specifically designed as a space launch vehicle, in particular one able to carry humans.
