Yes, it is a matter of taste when it comes to her voice. I personally love her voice. The Bee Gees wrote this song for Otis Redding. He was supposed to record it but unfortunately he passed away before he could. To say that she doesn't have the right voice for this song sounds ridiculous to me. After all, it was written for Otis Redding who has a husky gravelly voice also.

She sings it like it should have been sung all along - and it Rocks! I can understand if you don't like her voice, we all have different tastes in music. However, calling Bonnie a "b****" based solely on a preformance is just wrong. It's prejudiced. Her voice is husky so that makes her a bad person? I think not. She is actually EXTREMELY nice. I saw her in Las Vegas and she stayed after the show(even though she told us she had to go) and made sure to sign autographs and take pictures. Also, take note that in this preformance, she is singing at a CHARITY EVENT.

She has been called the female Rod Stewart. She had surgery on her vocal chords when she was starting out which resulted in her having such a distinctive voice.
