Dick Van Dyke is JUST AWESOMMMMEEEEE!!!! In the "Ole Bamboo" he is matching these professional dancers and lighting up the screen...Why he didn't win an Academy for this role is ridiculous....This movie was for children but it makes Grown-ups laugh and cry.....That makes it Oscar worthy.

though i like the movie, i guess the low point is 1st 35 seconds or so with the blank screen and racing noises, as if they were trying to make us guess what was making the noise.-- i like van dyke's speaking in "mary poppins". his tone of voice is very much like his normal tone ( which is like mine ), and yet he threw in stuff that sounds like an english cockney accent. english accents ( cockney or otherwise ) are tough. english accents are much harsher and slurred than u.s. accents.
