  • Bro, your questions are uninteligible. "What are you going to do when your health care insurance declines your medifcal treatment?" What does that suppost to mean? Cleopatric?

All I did was observe was that there are food shortages in Caracas for staples such as milk, and chicken and eggs. Are you disputing this?

  • Venezuela wants to difversify its economic portfolio. This is bad? Chavez has accomplished universal and free health care for all Venezuelans. This is bad? Venezuela provides free classical music education for all kids including poor kids. This is bad? Venezuela provides free eye operations for any citizen from Latin America. This is bad? Chavez has halved the povery rate and collected all the back taxes from the wealthy. This is bad? Being poor is no impediment to going to college.

  • also reduced poverty by 50% - (as i read in a BBC news article).

  • Venezuela has some of the biggest oil reserves in the world, yet the people have a sub standard quality of life.

Chavez is a dictator, and all freedoms are severly curtailed under his rule. And as far as living conditions....fresh milk is considered a luxury as are eggs, chickens and all other "price controlled" items.

If it were not for Chavez burning his nations oil wealth on propping up his corrupt and inefficient regime the nation would have collapsed long ago.

  • @esj8341 what are you going to do when your health care insurance declines your medifcal treatment? You'd have to return to Venezuela and get free health care from Cuban doctors. That would be plan B for you. The only thing that collapsed was the cleptocratic two party system of your oligarchy in Venezuela that after 90 years of exporting oil left the Venezuelan people in poverty, illness and ignorance. You live in the dream world of past "glory."

  • 1) I work. 2) I have insurance, for health, life, auto, and my business. 3) If however I had no insurance, and experienced a medical emergency, no emergency room in the US could turn me away. See Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act (42 U.S.C. § 1395dd.
