Ukraine blots out Soviet past in rush to rename streets

soviet socialists and national socialists (nazi's) collaborated widely in the 1930's but history is always written by the victors and the Soviets did a very good job covering it up.

The point is that UPA fought for a free Ukraine, ...and because this freedom included freedom From Russia, I can see why Russia doesnt like it. But screw them, they can name streets in their own country and will probably censor any attempts by foreign media to cover the story because Russia is a fascist dictatorship

I was born there and im embarassed by the fascists/nationalists. The center of the city even had nazi flags once handing on the oprah theatre. This is not "all propaganda." This is all Ukraine's presidents falt. I cant believe how bad Lviv is becoming.

What the hell are you talking about? There was never any Nazi flags in Lviv except save WWII when Germany occupied Western Ukraine. I was Born in Lviv as well so dont spread these lies. Lviv is the heart of Ukraine, and it never had any nazi flags hanging from the opera.
