It seems highly stereotypical that you would say "acting gay." I think that what most people don't get is that people portray themselves in the way they want people to see. Everyone has different levels of satisfaction, therefore humans have the tendency to adapt to other crowds to please the majority. It's pretty pathetic really. I guarantee you that there is no original person on this planet, we're all just watered down versions of someone bigger and better than ourselves.
So, do you mean "act effeminate" when you say "act gay"? To me "acting gay" means being more sexual and flirtatious, something I put a lid on when I'm among straights. As for the fem/drag thing, I will do it in certain situations, but it is not natural for me, only a matter of 'when in Rome".

I totally dif Video responses and so appreciate this but I like to switch up the topics from vid to vid. I do notice some gay men act a bit more "gay" in certain situations, just like i notice some woman who act more girly when they are with a group of there girl friends. I think its just human, and level of comfort.
