my experience with audi is great i drove the a6 c4 from 1997 till 2006 (still have this car)
and till now the audi a6 c6 3.0 quattro and both cars never had any problems out of the ordinary which beeing new breaks and the occasionally oil change btw the the old car (a6 c4) has not seen new oil since 2006 and still drives without problems xD

Just because your car had mechanical problems isn't enough to judge the model. I've got a 335d and it's been a dream with only normal servicing needed in over 4 years. But I know other 335d/330i drivers who have had problems. So it's down to how you treat your car and how much maintenance you skip :P

i got an E90 with 163 Hp and it goes 0-100 inside 8 sec i don't think this 7.77 is a true data but this number can change in a lot of way for example how many people are sitting in the car how many Liter petrol or diesel in the car the Bmw had a full tank... anyway i'm a Bmw driver and the i like Audis because in the same category the Bmw models are a little bit faster than the audi models always and i think most of the audis are made for woman.... Bmws are/were made for the Men's car
this difference is made by the traction because audi can put down the horsepower better than bmw. BMW's DTC brake the acceleration of the car if you put off the DTC you'll see the difference

the audi of 2007 compares with the bmw of the 2007 and the 530 of 2007 is 235 hp. the acceleration on that model is much quicker and it is a fair comparison not like this one. anyhow on wet conditions audi wins not by much but on dry condition it doesn't stand a chance against any year 530 bmw
@rinosuke80 Doesn't make any difference really. You can control the upshifts with your right foot. S - mode does not speed up the gearchanges... I'll do a new video once the bmw is repaired.
@rinosuke80 "S" sport mode is only for when you driving around and your going like 40mph and you slam on the gas and you brake and gas brake and gas it changes the gears of the car so they can get lowered so the engine can reach its maximum RPMs.

the new a6's 3 litre diesel engine is even better than this one..500Nm toruq, 241 bhp..so more power and less fuel consumption. the only bm 3 litre diesel engine that can beat that is the 3 litre twin turbo on the 535d/535xd. I own a 2002 a6 2.5 tdi fwd with 160bhp and i've recentlu driven the 530d, manual 6.. it has got some punch compared to my a6 but , overall, as another user said earlier, i believe that even the older a6 is a better overall car than the new 5 series.
It makes no difference whether the BMW is in D while the Audi is in SD..or that the audi has got 233 bhp while the bm only has 218.. As u can see they both shift gears at the same rpm...4200-4300. All in all, the only thing that makes a difference is that the tests were run in wet conditions, in which the bm's rwd loses a little bit of ground.

I've had the pleasure of being in both BMW and Audi interiors. What BMW did you have? If you have a 35i model, the reason might be the HPFP that keeps failing on the N54 engine. The new N55 engine will be better. Either that, or you have an outdated model. However, if you don't live on the west coast, you can confidently own one. The high amounts of ethanol in the gasoline on the western region is the problem.

He have never taken the BMW from 0-100 km/h or 0-200 km/h… And from 200 km/h it takes the AUDI a 4ever to get to 240 km/h….
Plus the BMW is much more FUN to drive…

My father has 2007 530xd 235HP 500torque and I had 2005 A6 3.0tdi quattro with 225HP 450torque, father always went faster than A6.
Comparison between 530d is not fair, because, 530d doesn't have 4WD, traction is not good.
530xd weighs 1780kg (~100kg more weigh compared to 530d) however;
0-100 for 530d: 7,1 sec
0-100 for 530xd:6,6 sec
Hence, quattro will be faster than the RWD bmw 530d...
And note that 2007 A6 quattro has 500torque, not 450...

My Audi was also every Week broken. All 6 Injectors were replaced two times and one turbo.
And the Aut.gearbox was broken at 80.000km. Audi is VW crap.
I drove the BMWs to 150.000km and had no problems. Only Service.

@PimPwlkp Nahoře už o tom psal (viz rinosuke80): Není v tom žádný rozdíl, nemá to vliv na rychlejší řazení, takže BMW by dostalo na prdel i kdyby volil sportovní režim. Audi je jednoduše lepsí, nediv se - patří to koncernu VW, který vlastní značky jako Lamborghini, Bugatti, Bentley, částečně Porsche a pak ty levnější jako Škoda nebo Seat. Ještě, že by taková velká automobilka s několikatelými zkušenostmi a několika značkami nedokázala vyrábět o dost lepší auta než nějaký ubohý BMW...

Hehe, it was very unfair. Audi have selected gear at "S" sport mod, BMW have selected gear at "D" drive, not sport. In "D" mod, the acceleration is slower then the sport mod. BMW the best, but 335i rulz. ;)

the audi of 2007 compares with the bmw of the 2007 and the 530 of 2007 is 235 hp. the acceleration on that model is much quicker and it is a fair comparison not like this one. anyhow on wet conditions audi wins not by much but on dry condition it doesn't stand a chance against any year 530 bmw

@rinosuke80 Doesn't make any difference really. You can control the upshifts with your right foot. S - mode does not speed up the gearchanges... I'll do a new video once the bmw is repaired.

@rinosuke80 "S" sport mode is only for when you driving around and your going like 40mph and you slam on the gas and you brake and gas brake and gas it changes the gears of the car so they can get lowered so the engine can reach its maximum RPMs.

the new a6's 3 litre diesel engine is even better than this one..500Nm toruq, 241 bhp..so more power and less fuel consumption. the only bm 3 litre diesel engine that can beat that is the 3 litre twin turbo on the 535d/535xd. I own a 2002 a6 2.5 tdi fwd with 160bhp and i've recentlu driven the 530d, manual 6.. it has got some punch compared to my a6 but , overall, as another user said earlier, i believe that even the older a6 is a better overall car than the new 5 series.

It makes no difference whether the BMW is in D while the Audi is in SD..or that the audi has got 233 bhp while the bm only has 218.. As u can see they both shift gears at the same rpm...4200-4300. All in all, the only thing that makes a difference is that the tests were run in wet conditions, in which the bm's rwd loses a little bit of ground.

audi rules!!!! Recently I was considering changing my old audi for a 2006 bmw but after seeing 2 of them( 530i & 530D) I was so desappointed....very poor quality of materials, little joints coming aprt, oil leaks on engine, harsh ride, etc. I'd rather stick to my 2001 A6 tdi, which is so much better when it comes to quality....even though bmw is more powerful but hey for a daily drive car I would take quality and comfort over power! cheers :)

Not that it has a shitty interior. In fact, it actually hits the benchmark for build quality. The Audi's interior is just a bit more inviting because it has alot more things coming at you. I've had the pleasure of being in both BMW and Audi interiors. In my opinion, BMW is a better car because it combines the sheer performance with luxury and comfort; and they are more engaging to the driver. Cheers.

I think it's a matter of taste. I love the exterior of the bmw, and the interior isn't too bad... But the thing that gets me the most is breaking down... My bmw is always breaking down. And we had 3 audis in our family that never did... I would never get a BMW because I don't have that much time to go to the dealers, almost every month...

What BMW did you have? If you have a 35i model, the reason might be the HPFP that keeps failing on the N54 engine. The new N55 engine will be better. Either that, or you have an outdated model. If you buy a BMW again, make sure you get one that doesn't use the current N54 engine. The new 5-Series F10 no longer has the faulty N54 engine. However, if you don't live on the west coast, you can confidently own one. The high amounts of ethanol in the gasoline on the western region is the problem.

hey guys, just chill out. As you can see, he wrote about winter tyres. That means maybe wet, cold temperature, maybe ice or snow. The most important audi is quattro, he does not write about BMW and Xdrive. So 4X4 vs RWD on winter tyres.
