I hear some people are not impressed with the zipper part of the entrance to tent. Joins like an upside down "T" and when all ends of the zipper meet it does NOT close up tightly. Also heard the seams at the top corner of the tent let daylight shine through the holes where it had been stitched as well.
We really like our new instant Coleman Tent. It really IS that easy and quick to set up. Quality/Fit/Finish is Great. Very nice Zippered Carry Bag is a Bonus. Get a 10 mil Tarp for underneath to help protect floor.Also, make sure tarp doesn't stick out from under the tent at the edges, or rain will wick under and make floor wet ).
I think tents like these should come with an optional rainfly you can choose to bring if you think its going to rain or just leave if the skies are clear. This tent will really leak - no matter what the brand is.
Just had this delivered yesterday. Put it up and the top poles got jammed looks like the the locks went sideways and I cannot for the life of me turn it to where the locks line up to the holes. On top of that the front and back droops does not look like any of the tents displayed on the videos. I hope its a factory mishap but how am I gonna put it back away when the poles are jammed watch my video you'll see.
@deelee527 We bought one of these and I understand that it will keep me quite dry in a downpour ... but I would still like one and am considering making one for this reason -- it will only keep you dry if you close all of the windows all the way. On a rainy night in previous tents, I could "crack" my windows open for ventillation and the rain fly would prevent rain from coming in. That would not be an option with this design. Otherwise, we love it.

I am really struggling to find this tent! i just went to target in Granada hills (it said on coleman.com it would be there) they said they dont have it and it didnt show up on their system... I am really really anxious to purchase this for an upcoming trip in two weeks... coleman.com didnt let me purchase it... please tell me how I can make this purchase if you know how I can do it. thanks very much!

Hi - My name is Delaina and I work for Coleman. I noticed a few people asking about a rain fly with this specific tent. WE designed the tent so a rain fly wasn't necessary. It has double the thinkness of fabric, the seams are fully taped and we used double the amount of PU coating to tape the tent. These steps eliminate the need for a rain fly. I did this successfully a couple of times, but tips on what to do to make it fit the first time (mostly due to air being trapped inside and unequal distribution of fabric) would be helpful. Again, nice tent. The wife loves being able to stand up in it anywhere. It's roomy and when all the windows are open it enables nice views.
I just got mine this evening. Watching the video on the website proved very useful. I pulled out the ceiling poles first and then the legs. It took me just about 2 min. by myself. I was wondering about having a tarp made to go under the tent to prevent punctures. Also, would it be a good idea to pick up some seam sealer and go over all the exterior stiching before use?
@dm45lm We don't sell tarps, but you shouldn't have any trouble finding one. Just be sure that you don't see any tarp when you have it under the tent. In case it rains, that's just a place for water to pool. I always seal my seams, though this one has fully taped seams. I haven't used this tent yet, but can't wait!
i just bought one at sams club im gona use it in a month, but i have had other coleman tents and loved them. I do have one concern has anyone had one in a downpour yet im worried about the lack of the rainfly ?
colemen tents do keep you dry ive been in a 12 hour downpour with a red canyon tent it didnt leak a drop i hope this one is the same and it would be nice if coleman made a optional rainfly just to be safe but if anyone could let me know how thiers holds up i would love to hear your comments

Is easy to set up however if it rains this tent will leak and water would come through.
Also once you put all your stuff inside there is no room for you to walk so if you are a family of four or more dont recommended.
