You put it in the dryer with your clothes so that they don't cling together. When all the clothes are drying they rub on each other and that causes static electricity to make your clothes cling together. Dryer sheets prevent that, along with making your clothes soft, wrinkle free, and smelling like a fresh spring day. :D

it might sound funny but those kind of things we say it "luxury life style" which is costs more whereas we simply can do laundry without using it and have no problem with that ^^ Anyways it's just culture thing+my opinion so hope u understand it :)
