hey Dawn, i saw that you did a review for CHI silk infusion too. Is moroccanoil far superior than the CHI silk infusion, or are they about the same? I have the CHI silk infusion and i'm running out, and i was thinking of either purchasing moroccanoil or CHI
Andreas Choice is a bitch. I never ever seen her in my life and when I went to comment on her video. I see that she had blocked me!1 what is wrong with youtube?
morrocan oil is not just argan oil. it has a very minimal amount of Argan Oil and is just mainly silicone. A build up of silicone on your hair is not a good thing and is not healthy. Check the ingredients. dimethicone (part of the silicone family) and Cyclomethicone..
Love how this smells... but it didn't work for me. :( I have LOTS of fine wavy/frizzy hair and after several weeks of use (both on damp and dry hair) it made no difference. I haz a sad! :(
You should try one of the masques from MoroccanOil. The hydrating or restorative masques is great for frizzy hair in combination with the oil treatment. Good luck.
the best stuff to use is pure unrefined parachute brand coconut oil as a pre-shampoo treatment. and i even use like half a teaspoon after i shampoo and condition, and i have quite normal hair. its not dry or oily. it makes hair soo shiny. coconut oil was actually used in the hair by indian women, where the climate there is also quite dry and blazing hot. and indian women are known for their fabulous hair! in fact, weaves are made of indian hair
i'm really confused what to do because the other day i went to one of the beauty stores, trade secrets...and i was gonna go there for biolage but the girl reccomended me either joico or this moroccanoil...i dont know which one to go for...i have very dry curly hair...its very very dry because of all the damage from heating and colouring my hair
Did a search on Skin Deep to see the toxicity of each ingredient: Cyclopentasiloxane (linked to cancer), Coumarin(linked to cancer and known human immune system toxicant), Benzyl Benzoate (possible human immune system toxicant, workplace exposures restricted to low doses, plus causes skin irritation), Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone (causes skin irritation)

I just bought Moroccan Oil a week ago.........AMAZING!!!!! I am in love with this product.......is the BEST!!!!! Now....I have a question did anyone use the styling hydrating cream from Morrocan Oil......I want to buy, but I would like to know if is also as amazing as the oil.
She dont know what she is talking about. This is a commercial made from the company. MOROCCAN OIL IS NOT ARGAN OIL - WAKE UP - it has hazardous ingredients!
A shame using the great ARGAN OIL in products like this. Just show how fake the industri still is. Look it up Urself and get the truth.
receipe for another moroccan oil. Grand some clove ( the herb) warm it up with some pure virgin olive oil. Just warm it dont burn it. And then put it in a pot. and once a while put in youre hear and leave it 30 minutres till an houre. and then wash it out. Its important to warm the cloce. Because if its not warm it will have the opposite effect. And dont leave the oil to long. Olivie oil is very agressive. 30 minutes is the best result.
good review, but I think it's important to point out that it is not natural like you mentioned in the video. it is heavily silicone-laden and actually contains only a tiny amount of argan oil.
Yep, and Paul Mitchell makes a good silicone serum too for only $11 rofl Just add some oil to the Paul mitchell bottle and VOILA, you got "moroccan oil"
Yes! Silicones are bad for hair, giving "fake" smoothness, no real nourishment, and can destroy naturally curly hair, like mine. It is difficult 2find products that R truly natural, that also do not have SILICONE. Why does EVERYONE seem 2want glossy hair nowadays? I think a natural texture can look much prettier...so, it seems that the only deep condit. products are ones that give unnaturally glossy hair!
Does anyone know if the EARTHLY BODY brand of MOROCCAN OIL is SILICONE (&other chem) FREE?
I didn't know that but you need to talk to the people who make the product. A lot of big name hair dressers use the product and endorse it. I'm just giving my opinion on the product.
Actually...the company contributes to replanting all the trees they get the oil from. Also, the argan oil comes from the seeds located on the tree and not the tree itself. Just thought you should know that before you bash a good product that does alot to reforest this very special and unique tree. Argan oil is also used on food similar to olive oil and also has been found to have many medicinal benefits as well.
@DawnforPursebuzz Have you ever heard of supply and demand? Just because it was already made doesn't mean YOU aren't doing anything wrong. When they sell products they realize that they are in demand so they make MORE. Everytime you buy a bottle they need to make another bottle to make up for all the ones they are selling. So just because you bought one that was already made doesn't at all mean "might as well buy it" your causing more trees to die.
The natural Argan trees in Northern Africa are considered endagered. This oil comes from Argan tree orchards, they are planted trees. If anything it serves to preserve this species.

The best hope for the conservation of the trees may lie in the recent development of a thriving export market for argan oil as a high-value product.
