  • This stuff is amazing and the best I HAVE FOUND SO FAR for frizzy hair.. Smells great...cut's the drying time too.

  • i had a sample of this, i really like it personally

  • Based on your review our stylist used Moroccan Oil for our video shoot. Shine/ lustre -we chose the curly look for our host/ narrator character.

  • Do you have a video up where you talk about mario badescu's drying lotion???

  • does it make your hair healthier?

  • omg my favorite product! If anyone doesnt like this they are crazy!

  • its a waste there is silicone in it

  • Waht you say does not make any sense, sorry! Moroccan oil is not natural neither organic. Please google ' mouna de Lainey"" to learn about argan oil. Thanks

  • it is so expensive here in canada..crazy prices !

  • Website: "The oil is harvested under a fair trade program which provides substantial socio-economic support to thousands of families in the Souss-Massa region of Morocco. Revenue from this project provides income to families and helps improve the working conditions of rural women. It is also used for reading, writing and management classes, as well as for modern infrastructure and technology that help make harvesting easier and more efficient, ensuring long-term management of the Argan forest."

  • The best hope for the conservation of the trees may lie in the recent development of a thriving export market for argan oil as a high-value product.

  • hey Dawn, i saw that you did a review for CHI silk infusion too. Is moroccanoil far superior than the CHI silk infusion, or are they about the same? I have the CHI silk infusion and i'm running out, and i was thinking of either purchasing moroccanoil or CHI

  • Wow, I feel terrible now that I know the trees are endangered. I use this stuff like crazy, it works well.

  • Andreas Choice is a bitch. I never ever seen her in my life and when I went to comment on her video. I see that she had blocked me!1 what is wrong with youtube?

  • Yawn

  • morrocan oil is not just argan oil. it has a very minimal amount of Argan Oil and is just mainly silicone. A build up of silicone on your hair is not a good thing and is not healthy. Check the ingredients. dimethicone (part of the silicone family) and Cyclomethicone..

  • i have it , its awsome

  • I can't wait to try this.

  • Thank you so much for the great info! You are just a lovely gal. luv the make up & hair!

  • Love how this smells... but it didn't work for me. :( I have LOTS of fine wavy/frizzy hair and after several weeks of use (both on damp and dry hair) it made no difference. I haz a sad! :(

  • You should try one of the masques from MoroccanOil. The hydrating or restorative masques is great for frizzy hair in combination with the oil treatment. Good luck.

  • moroccanoil brand is basically just silicone, if you look at the ingredients list. also, aragan oil actually reduces sebum production

  • the best stuff to use is pure unrefined parachute brand coconut oil as a pre-shampoo treatment. and i even use like half a teaspoon after i shampoo and condition, and i have quite normal hair. its not dry or oily. it makes hair soo shiny. coconut oil was actually used in the hair by indian women, where the climate there is also quite dry and blazing hot. and indian women are known for their fabulous hair! in fact, weaves are made of indian hair

  • how long does it last??

  • Hi,

    I wanted to know something..

i'm really confused what to do because the other day i went to one of the beauty stores, trade secrets...and i was gonna go there for biolage but the girl reccomended me either joico or this moroccanoil...i dont know which one to go for...i have very dry curly hair...its very very dry because of all the damage from heating and colouring my hair

  • hey gals, try this stuff,,it really works well:)) smells good,,ma bf loves it too:))

  • Can this be used on your face also? Other gurus say that u can? im confused...

  • does it act like a heat protectant when you blow dry?

  • Yes it does. I use it before blow drying and dont' need to reapply before flat ironing

  • thanks! :)

  • i heard that is what moroccan oil contains

  • Did a search on Skin Deep to see the toxicity of each ingredient: Cyclopentasiloxane (linked to cancer), Coumarin(linked to cancer and known human immune system toxicant), Benzyl Benzoate (possible human immune system toxicant, workplace exposures restricted to low doses, plus causes skin irritation), Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone (causes skin irritation)

  • Did a search on Skin Deep to see the toxicity of each ingredient: Cyclopentasiloxane (linked to cancer), Cyclomethicone (skin irritation), MethylPropional (classified as medium human health risk plus causes skin irritation), Linseed (linked to cancer plus causes skin irritation), D&C Yellow-11 (classified as medium human health risk plus causes skin irritation), D&C Red-17 (linked to cancer, lassified as medium human health risk plus causes skin irritation), Coumarin(

  • im in canada..i got mine from a beauty supply store...$14- for about 2 ozs. i like it although i was hoping it would help my dry flaky scalp...

  • Hedy, which store did you get it at?

  • can someone tell me who sings the background music pleasssssssssssseee!!!!!!!

  • duz this stuff make ur hair less frizzy? cuz i want something that would make my hair less frizzy

  • In my experience it does eliminate frizz. It is a miracle product to me. When I use it my hair looks super glossy anfd feels super soft.

  • I just bought Moroccan Oil a week ago.........AMAZING!!!!! I am in love with this product.......is the BEST!!!!! Now....I have a question did anyone use the styling hydrating cream from Morrocan Oil......I want to buy, but I would like to know if is also as amazing as the oil.

  • i love this stuff it does wonders worth the price.. i have thick dry hair and amkes my hair look shiny like coming from a salon!

  • I use the oil the styling cream and the shampoo and conditioner all the products make my hair sooooo shiney

  • SUPPORT the real Argan oil product - dont use fakes like MoroccanOil.

FYI - I can appear in any court in any part of the world in case MoroccanOil Company want this challenge

  • I second you, you are absolutely right! I always get real argan oil( the cold pressed one) straight from morocco!!!!

  • try the hydrating styling cream by the moroccan oil company... it works sooo good. i use it al the time...

  • receipe for another moroccan oil. Grand some clove ( the herb) warm it up with some pure virgin olive oil. Just warm it dont burn it. And then put it in a pot. and once a while put in youre hear and leave it 30 minutres till an houre. and then wash it out. Its important to warm the cloce. Because if its not warm it will have the opposite effect. And dont leave the oil to long. Olivie oil is very agressive. 30 minutes is the best result.

  • do u put it on before you shower, or after?

  • after

  • i just got this stuff.

and omygawwhhddd it makes such a difference.

i feel like i just came back from the salon.

it feels so light and air and shiny.

    i love it.

    get it.

  • Ohmylawd, this stuff is amazing.

  • I'm 14 and I use this it is awesome=]

  • good review, but I think it's important to point out that it is not natural like you mentioned in the video. it is heavily silicone-laden and actually contains only a tiny amount of argan oil.

  • LOL! gabbygirl202 justed pwned this whole video.

  • Yep, and Paul Mitchell makes a good silicone serum too for only $11 rofl Just add some oil to the Paul mitchell bottle and VOILA, you got "moroccan oil"

  • Yes! Silicones are bad for hair, giving "fake" smoothness, no real nourishment, and can destroy naturally curly hair, like mine. It is difficult 2find products that R truly natural, that also do not have SILICONE. Why does EVERYONE seem 2want glossy hair nowadays? I think a natural texture can look much prettier...so, it seems that the only deep condit. products are ones that give unnaturally glossy hair!

Does anyone know if the EARTHLY BODY brand of MOROCCAN OIL is SILICONE (&other chem) FREE?

  • Comment removed

  • morroccan oil has silicones.

  • the trees this oil comes from are endangered and now protected

yes, gee,t he product is nice but do you need to strip the earth?

  • I didn't know that but you need to talk to the people who make the product. A lot of big name hair dressers use the product and endorse it. I'm just giving my opinion on the product.

  • Actually...the company contributes to replanting all the trees they get the oil from. Also, the argan oil comes from the seeds located on the tree and not the tree itself. Just thought you should know that before you bash a good product that does alot to reforest this very special and unique tree. Argan oil is also used on food similar to olive oil and also has been found to have many medicinal benefits as well.

  • @DawnforPursebuzz Have you ever heard of supply and demand? Just because it was already made doesn't mean YOU aren't doing anything wrong. When they sell products they realize that they are in demand so they make MORE. Everytime you buy a bottle they need to make another bottle to make up for all the ones they are selling. So just because you bought one that was already made doesn't at all mean "might as well buy it" your causing more trees to die.

  • @Sj99999

The natural Argan trees in Northern Africa are considered endagered. This oil comes from Argan tree orchards, they are planted trees. If anything it serves to preserve this species.

  • @Sj99999 This may be late but to correct or expand on your explanation of the Argan tree it is endangered but Protected since 1998. "The argan trees are located in UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) protected forests, which ensures reforestation and continued production of Argan Oil" , Hope this helps straighten any misconceptions of wrong doing.

  • @Sj99999 moroccan women have been using this for years. So i'm sure it's all ok.

  • i ordered one yesterday around 4 pm and i got it today at 11:15 am. how great is that! : ) now i'm really excited to try it.thanks for ur review!

  • Yay, I hope you love it!!! Let me know how it goes.
