i will get a samsung n130 it has the same hardware (but i think 1,3 mp webcam instead of 0,6) if you find a good online shop you can get it for ~260 €, it has a not sry dont know how to say in english.. it has a screen which dont "mirrors" ;D and the keyboard is perfekt

How about if you rotate or move the netbook a bit so that it is no longer in the sun?

That usually seems to help.

Very funny. The whole point of the video is to SHOW how the display looks in the sun (which isn't too bad in my opinion). :-)

My point is that the reflection - which is an issue with ANY device which has a screen, anyway - is not a problem at all if work is carried on with the screen shaded one way or another.

I, too, find the netbook well worth the money spent on it. People who do NOT need a netbook should consider going for a notebook instead - or, better yet, in case they do not need to go mobile, a desktop PC.

This is a prime example of why I don't like glossy screens. I work in IT. This means taking my laptop and/or netbook all over the place to offices that have fluorescent lights. They also see occasional outdoor use as well. The 1005HA is a fantastic netbook but why you have to get the paired down version to get the better matte display is beyond me. Glossy LCD screens are cheaper to manufacture as they lack the anti-glare coating layer.

THats not brightness 100% thats I think 70 % when you get the asus eee the brightness is always 70% go to a asus shop

I set the brightness to 100% of the normal brightness tool that is preinstalled.

Oh, I hate this screen. I'm thinking of trading for the matte version even though I'll lose some features. Seems cheaply constructed as well since the material and panel tolerances don't seem that of the earlier models.

Pretty sure the 1005ha-v has a matte screen. doesn't come with bluetooth and has a .3 mp webcam. on the bright side it costs less than the ha-p version with glossy screen.

that's pretty bad as most glossy screens are outside. looks like I'm gonna go with the HE jsut becasue of the matte screen

There are two models, at least in Europe: 1005HA-H and 1005HA-M. The HA-H was Bluetooth, larger battery and a reflective screen. The 1005HAB is probably another name for the the Bluetooth model.

What model of the Dell Mini? Only one I can see being any better is the one with bigger screen resolution but that immediately put it out of my price range. The battery also doesn't hold up quite as well as the 1005HA, but it's still good. Again, that's the expensive model.

kein Bluetooth

und

einen schwächeren Akku

Außerdem soll das Display recht dunkel sein. => ohne eeectl sieht man im Freien nix.

das im video ist das 1005ha-h, das 1005ha-m hat ein nonglossy-display und kostet 299e.

hat zwar anstatt des n280 den 270 cpu, der aber genauso viel leistung hat.

also: 1005ha-m kaufen! :)
