you cant even tell at all that its carberated. the reason they kept the carb was because there was no point in getting rid of the best carb on the market that would produce just as much power as a heavily tuned EFI bike.

omg this bike is crazy. this is the easyist bike i have ever rode. im 15 and i know what u people think im not big enough or heavy enough for this bike but the way its set up it is easer to ride than my 04 yz250f i spent 4 to 5 hours trail riding this bike hard in the sand and i was barly tired from all the bumps and corners in my opinion this is the best 09 450 thay made for a beginer into the 450s

my buddie had the same problem his clutch wouldnt ingage.we had to pull his cable off and check it and it ended up the cable was broken.but other than that dude you need a new clutch lol

leave the bike running (with a bit of throttle) for about 10 or so minutes then try to take off with the clutch. some bikes, the engine needs to warm up for the clutch to work. if this doesnt work take it to a mechanic and get the clutch replaced

never leave these four strokes running for more than a few minutes while they arent moving, they run way too hot to not get any cooling from the radiators, NEVER leave it at idle for more than 5 minutes.

@goatpookle guarenteed you have never ridden or owned a KTM in you life. KTM's are the easiest to work on, they are the most reliable and have the most power. The reason they get bad reviews is because people dont set the suspension up for them.

thanks for the reply. i did some researching even talked to some bike mechanics and was told there was supposed to be a rubber cork in the hole and that it either didn't get installed or it blew out, that same hole can be used to install a decompression assembly. my friend has a 01 yz426 with that same hole with a decompression assembly already installed that he can use to make kicking the bike over more effortless and with that assembly being there it doesn't leak oil.
