Thank you! I tried this and after about the seed had been in the plastic bag for about 3 weeks in the bag I decided to go ahead and stick the seed in a pot. At first I thought my efforts were failed, but today I looked outside and to my surprise it had sprouted. Thank you again!
I prefer the o'natural method, I eat all the seeds whole (like the majestic elephant) then poop em out in my garden. I like to do it in the middle of a wild thunderstorm so I can be sure there's adequate water for my smelly little babies.
Thanks for your method though, I will be sure to try it out.
I was told that the seeds must freeze before they are viable... based on your video this is a myth...
do you know what would lead someone tio think that they needed to be frozen first? I assume that it is just a way to select the "best" resistant seeds but I am not sure ... what is your take on this?
@gyozza1 In nature the freezing would help crack the shell off the seed. But the cold can definitely help it germinate if you throw it into the fridge for a week or so before you plant it.
Instead of Whiting a couple of weeks u can let it (the seed) dry a 3 -4 days and than pot it in the paper towe in the ziplock bag and in less than 1 week it will grow
I have cherries tree which i started from seeds. The trees prove me and the birds with a lot of cherries. It took 10 years for my first tree to give flowers, and about 11-12 years to actually give fruits. My tree is the Renier Cherrie tree. Very often, as the fruit mature and the birds eat the fruit, their seeds plant themselves and I keep having more cherries trees. The flowers are fantastic too!
I never work a lot to start a seed, i just eat the fruit and let nature take over
Do you plant the nectarine seed with the pointy end facing down into the soil or up facing the surface? I have a seed that has dried out for about 2 months now and I;m simply going to plant it in moist soil.
...will there be a hard wood fruit tree epsiode where we get to see the whole you ?
~on thing to remember is not to use chlorinated city water on your seed for sprouting, but do use sterial water idealy soaking, preboiled water works to sterilze molds, once it cools, don't damage your living seeds or they will never reproduce , sharing there fruit with you in the process., a fair bargain for soil , space, water & nutrients plus very little effort over time which is equity .

~any example of sharing information is the web well spun, which we are finally began to use to the potential to become so much more enabled as individuals & as a sustainable society; knowledge being at the root of most problems solving. When I was still residing in the city, my garden was my refuge in the city, and the return on effort was time value done right, the experience priceless if be .
Here's a tip I learned from a friend. When using pots for any type of plant put in rocks or marbles in the soil. About 10 to 15 in a small pot and more in larger. Make sure that the rock are about the size of marbles. It keep the soil from getting to packed and also it'll help support any type plant that you have. I hope this tip will be helpful for any one. Let me know what your thoughts are on this idea. And if you used it. Tell me how it came out. Thanks =^.^=
For the cherry tree did you also crack open the shell to get a seed out or did you just plant the seed straight from the cherry? Thanks for the Video! Good job!
@zardiw I think if you grow several of the same species and they produce flowers, and you have insects that will carry the pollen to pollinate the other trees they might make fruit, you can also do it your self by putting the pollen on the flowers, but it depends on the type of tree
thanks you, your videos is very inspired me,,
i will try that..
