  • The first two dont seem to be rehabbed. Great Vid !

  • Yeah. The first two are the original 2000 series Bredas.

  • Sorry I meant to say the original 4000 series.

  • ahh, cause from all the other vids i've seen, they usually have orange LED signs on the cars, but the front 2 doesnt. WMATA is smart for rehabbing their cars, getting new propulsion sets and whatnot. I'm a big fan of the WMATA :D

  • Nice. Tell me, which transit system is better WMATA, or MTA NYC?

  • WMATA for sure, MTANYC is not that great as it seems, the subways are great, but our buses arent all that great. We are receiving Orion VII NG Hybrids at this moment.

  • Oh wow. I'm not that familiar with NYC transit system, so that's why I asked. Good to know WMATA has fans outside of the DC Area.

  • well i lose you lose and everybody loses.my cousin said he just went to dc and told me he rode the new bus and he is not a bus person and said it had an up staires.so i lose and everyone loses.

  • That's a bold-face lie. The buses aren't suppose to be in service untill August.

  • Plus, all the low floor buses have an upstairs duh lol.

  • That would be great, catch em while you still can...

  • I just got back from a Metro trip to the zoo! I saw a fair amount of Rohrs, Breda 4000 series, and CAF 5000 series cars on the Red Line (2 Red Line trains were full Breda 4000 series consists). I also saw several Alstoms on the Green Line and 2000 and 3000 series rehabs on both lines. I saw no original Breda 3000 series today.

  • I'm wondering why the heck all my comments were deleted.

  • I'm surprised there are still some original 3000 series roaming around. I'd suspect they'll probably be in Hornell by the end of the year. On my last Metro trip, I saw the highest numbered set of 6000 series Alstoms (6182-6183).

  • I've always liked seeing mixed Breda consists. You haven't seen any original 3000 series recently, have you? I haven't seen any since March.

  • Were the first two cars 3000 or 4000 series?
