Look at Born in like 2002, he was so different, just another blow-up head, but then he slowly started to pick up Focus' style. How can you possibly say their styles are not similar, are you blind? If you really need a visual, why don't you watch Korea/Japan vs. Europe at IBE 2008....

You must be new to breakin... First of all Born didn't even know Focus back then.. Second of all his style is because of MZK... In 2005, Born had cleaner footwork than Focus... not to mention before he ever got influenced by bboys from America, some of his influences were Bboy Nauty-One, Bboy Tino-Roc....

He wasn't a blow up head, you can't assume he is.... you haven't ever watched all of his 2002 clips to determine that... just cause he does alot of airchairs? Second of all.... Focus and Born have different styles... how are they anywhere similar?.... Focus focuses more on footwork aspect, while Born will toprock a entire set if it means riding the beat.

i agree, their styles are different, but personally, i strongly feel that Born and many other bboys adopted styles of Storm and incorporated it into their current style.

this is not to say they are biting, but it's truth that a large majority of bboys today are heavily influenced by styles that came from Storm, Megus, Abstrak and many others.
