I swear, Philip's picture should be next to the words Prince Charming in the dictionary. Here she is in this extremely vulnerable and embarrassing position and he's the only one who helps her. Plus he's already been captured, sunburned, and possibly a little dehydrated yet he CARRIES her without hesitation even after she snaps at him! (swoons)

Instead of thinking she killed, think that she kissed him and healed him eventually and went to live together and happy forever somewhere underwater :P

WTF 0:24 - 0:32 no one helps, an indefese and innocent creature is there naked, in her human form, feeling cold for the 1st time because she is in her human form, and nobody helps, they only look and only after sometime a missionary finally helps?

If I was there I after she become in her human form I would give her my shirt , my t-shirt, my boots and whatever she needs to keep warm. But in there obviously the pirates would never help her such selfish perverts.

I love this clip so much! I am looking for the clips of when they are in the pools at night and Blackbeard is trying to get the tear from Syrena. I can't find the first one where they pretend to kill Philip or the second one where they take her tear of joy. Can anyone help?

And specially when the zombie pirate cuts Philip´s chest, and Syrena wants so much to cry but she can´t that made me solidary with her( and even thought I am not sentimental a new door opened in my heart: "being a litle more sentimental and respective with women"), and by being solidary I felt a tear coming out of my right eye, well not to show any feeling I just cleaned the tear away.

I am looking the clip of the pools because I want that feeling again.

How can in about 60 pirates, the only one who helps must be a missionary, while the others stay there looking, some being prevert. I think that those two MUST be the most helpfull characters in the whole saga( at least comparing themselfs to their species the man kind, and the mermaids). Thats why I got so touching with Syrena. Oh and obviously that we cannot forget how beautifull and inocent Syrena is and... just look at 0:20, 0:27, 0:34, 0:48, or 1:33

I don´t think we can compare Angelica and Jack Sparrow to Syrena and Philip, it´s compeltely different, because Jack Sparrow it´s a character of comedy he is suppose to be funny and Angelica is funny too so there is no really love story between them, but when we talk about Syrena and Philip well thats different.

I am a man, and because of that I am not sentimental or sensitive I am actually always joking with cute things, but I couldn´t joke with Syrena is so beautifull, so innocent, so timid so needed, when she trys to walk and fall I felt so sad, I can´t be strong enough to joke with her cute face if I or her love story and I admit that I loved this POTC because of Syrena and Philip timid, look at her face at 0:23,1:01, 1:33 I can´t stand that face. I am not afraid to admit I like Syrena cute face.

Swoon! She looks so sad and miserable and he's so tender to her...I really was afraid that most of their scenes would run perilously close to cliche. But the actors, director, and writer manage to somehow make it refreshingly original, I think. I mean, on paper, it plays out pretty cheap. But on screen, their interactions really say a lot about Philip and Syrena's developing feelings.
