on the international version's gamefaqs page, there is a semi-english patch out that translated the items, accessories, abilities to english. however another patch is being worked on to translate much more, like dresspheres, garment grids, key items, menu info, renaming creatures alphabet, and a lot of other odd things. i cannot wait and you people should check it out!! unfortunately last mission itself will not be translated, neither will most dialogue text due to data limits

Can't help but think this is the punishment of Square-Enix for those who criticized too much about FFX-2 being so bubbly, girly, and silly. IMO, tt's a great game with a variety of gameplay and side-quests and even better with awesome additional exclusives in the International & Last Mission version.

You guys know there is an english patch right? Plus why hate enix, FF 9 and up were terrible, have you seen 13? To much bloody spam, cant tell whats happening. Verses and up are going to be amazing, verses is gonna be using KHs battle system. And 14 is a better version of 11, and dont piss and moan about 13 being on the red ring. The best version is ps3 exclusive! 13 has terrible characters any way...

You should be hating Square Enix for first releasing the "beta" version of their games in Japan, then releasing an enhanced ENGLISH version for the international market. So to appease the angry Japanese gamers, they re-release the Japanese version with the enhanced extras in the English release in-tact (hence calling it the "International Version), along with added bonuses, then making it a jap exclusive.

In short, the first release of every major Squenix game is always "beta".

Definitely can be done since Square-Enix's Front Mission 5 was completely converted to English via translation patch. Same for Namco X Capcom.

You need a Japanese PS2. But, I don't recommend this one. Find a 'moded' PS2. And lastly, you can try using Swap Magic disc.

What I mean there is, Tidus is equipped with the Dressphere, Mascot. But, the dresspheres doesn't change the creature's outfit. They just increases the stats and adds some abilities. I hope you understand.

In the Last Mission game, it's pure Japanese. Meaning, the voice and subtitles/menus are Japanese.

Unlock the Farplane Cup in the Coliseum. Then beat it at least 3x. At your 4th participation in the cup, he will appear in the rankings as '????'. You 'must' beat him (w/c means you'll need to fight him) and become the champion in the cup.
