  • Mie had the best legs in the business.

  • Their voices are huskier than I expected...cool stuff

  • 今でも年末にコレ聴くと当時のレコ大と紅白を思い出しますね♪

  • I thought this song was made in the 2000s, lol

  • No wonder why this show didn't last past 5 episodes on air..they can't speak any english!

  • 80年代までは、金髪とか長髪さえタブーだったのに、この衣装はすごいですね。

  • 昭和のテイストだなー

  • I want a dress like that!

  • this is ridiculous. it's sooo 80s

  • @jvemPiRe14 The song came out in '77 technically.

  • neither one spoke english; that's why they were cancelled in the US

  • OMG!!! they don't have tiny tinie irritating voices!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • In my opinion, they were ahead of their time. The instrumental arrangements (not to mention the sound effects), their singing and their dance still holds strong today. Amazing. I simply love it!

  • @sakigaby : Glad you enjoyed it!

  • One of the problems with the series, is that the producers weren't told until the ladies got here, that they didn't speak a word of English lol

  • @kevind754 : Can't argue that. PL & J was a train wreck from start to finish. :P

  • I love Japanese people.

  • Choreography not so different from MONSTER.

  • Pink Lady had their own TV show on NBC in early 1980 and it lasted for six weeks, though, in some places, it had been yanked after four or five because of poor ratings I suspect. However, Mie and Kei were seen on U.S. television a year earlier in 1979 on the Leif Garrett special where they sang "Kiss in the Dark", their lone all-English single.

  • @JeffB1959 Hey Jeff...are you by some chance Jeff Altman?

  • @kevind754 : God no! Just a schlub who shares his name! HA!

  • @JeffB1959 LOL...just wondering

  • LOL....I was looking for this!!!! OMGarsh...too funny!!!! I used to watch this also even it did only last 5 weeks I think. The show was known as Pink Lady...and Jeff. I remember it cause I was a Leif Garrett fan and I think he was either the first guest or had something to do with them coming to the states. I could be wrong on that tho. Anyway...thanks for posting!!!

  • They actually had their own show here in the USA for a while back in 1977. I watched it every week and swore that I would meet and marry these ladies someday. LOL!

  • to this very day, they are still entertaining to watch. They were in the U.S. about two years and then they were gone. however, there was something about their presence that impressed me to never forget Namoto-sama and Keiko-sama. I will always love both of you.

  • haha man there defnitly young compared to 2004

  • haha

  • Pinkawsom!

  • i was 5yrs old in japan when this song came out!!! the pink ladies were my fave band! i bought a handkerchief with their faces on it and tied it to my pink bike. yeay!!! thanks for posting this

  • Glad to have been of service! "UFO" is one of my favorites!

  • 私はハワイは1976年からピンクレディーのパフォーマンスは、誰も助けすることができますているのですか?

  • @dancers10 >>

they moved to Okinawa and Bangkok . please call the UFO from Diamondhead ! ((* O *)) ''to SOS too! ((Original is alive and well in Japan*^^)p

  • I wonder if the Star Fox composers ever heard this song prior to 96 or whenever SF64 came out, lol

  • This is video is really modern. I posted it on FB and on Twitter. I saw Lady GaGa wearing a similar costume this year, 2010. Also the beginning of this song maybe the original for Kill Bill sound track. Very future forward, indeed

  • At the Japanese immersion camp I went to in Minnesota we did our morning exercises to this song. With a dance very similar to this.

  • You know, I think I've heard of that! Sounds mighty interesting!

  • @zelia721s Omg, I just got home from there and thats why I was looking this song up. XD

  • @zelia721s similar to? more like identical to!

  • @zelia721s I imagine there are quite a few Americans born after 1977 who know this song only do so because of said immersion camp. (Myself included ;-P).

  • I wouldn't mind if aliens like these decided to invade.

  • Heh! That makes two of us, my friend! ^_^

  • Everyone (or almost everyone) In my class loves this song.

  • Really? Hey, that's great! ^_^

  • Well it is a really awesome song. I think my teacher likes it too. lol

  • These Aliens,Look Like,Oh MY GOD!

  • This is fun...

  • Best use of hands as a "prop" in a pop song performance right after Kanai Katsuko's 1973 mega smash hit "Tanin No Kankei." I can NOT believe this song is 30 years old!!

  • Brilliant; just brilliant.

  • I love this song. :) Thanks so much!

  • A-mazing!

  • The band is KICKING on this one! Thanks JeffB!
