  • How GAY!

  • very nicely done!Cohen is one of the most brilliant writers to come to my ear's doorstep, welcomed in as a wonderous guest of concept and missed dearly every time he goes.you did his poetry justice though I would've prefered to hear it read by the man, himself(I think his writings are served best in his deep, melancholy tone.)but, still, this is a great offering..a postcard issued verbatim via two distinctly different aural purveyors..your interpretation speaks in the gaps where words sometimes fail.

  • Thank you very much for your comments.

  • I just realized that you are blessed!! Thank you for sharing this with us. I bookmarked this months ago and just had time to come say how much I like it. I never tire of hearing you read or sing poetic words.

  • Thank you. I know that I am blessed.

  • This is so very beautiful - I happened upon it and I am grateful. Magnificent ~ the precious tenderness in the expression of the verse and the peaceful, gentle sound of the music. This video is a blessing ~ Namaste

  • thanks ken...........STOP THE WAR,

  • Thanks.

  • his hands seem so big :)

  • Very sympatico - the voice to the uke - as in made for each other. It sounds like a reading from someone other than the author. "Quiet" needs something or it could just soften away...

    Really, really well done, Ken.

    Excellent timing, phrasing, volumes, expression...

It's just 100 percent in every way.

Very rarely is a poem delivered so appropriately

  • Very soulful delivery Ken. Brilliant! You've got a perfect voice for reciting poems. (But I almost get mad with envy with people who can write lyrics like Cohen, Dylan, Neil and those guys...)

  • Thanks R. That was quick. I think you actually watched the video before me.

  • He he...well, I'm a YT-junkie, hooked up 24-7.
