Nelly born to dad in the marines, very talented when he was young a family man.

Kayne west whos dad was the first black photo journalist in the black panthers is now a christian counsellor and his mother a Professor in english.

By the way, your examples of rappers isn't valid. You showed how rapper's PARENTS were good people. That means nothing when it comes to the rappers. Kanye has been arrested. Some of Nelly's concerts have been picketed for their obscene content and some have resulted in violence (stabbings). As for Missy Elliot's dad, he was an abuser who beat his family and even pulled a gun on them. This type of violence is what rap music comes from. It's how it started.

If others enjoy rap music, so be it. I'll never understand why, but it's my prerogative to hate it and not respect the overwhelming majority of people who make careers out of it. My comments really aren't generalizations because what I commented on has been my experience with rap and rappers. Case in point: Coolio was recently arrested on misdemeanor weapons and narcotics charges. Such is the life of most rappers - drugs and violence.

All I did was watch this clip and give my opinion, from my experiences. I'm not setting national laws or writing a text book to teach from. That's why I find it funny that people are getting bent out of shape about it. Naturally people's opinions are going to be different. I know some people enjoy rap music or it wouldn't exist. If they want to enjoy it, it doesn't bother me. I wouldn't set out to prove their taste in music is bad. My opinion is just as valid.
