the way we have become from even 200 years ago is very depressing. the us used to be a christian nation. know the world is full of drugs, prostitutes, suiside, crime, murder, demonic sacrificies, porn, and many other things. im not saying there wasnt that bck then but its abundadant now. i am a proud sliver of a whole that is a christian. but this song also makes me look at wat life is like without the one true holy savior Jesus Christ. Not to nit pick, but the song is about the state of the world. In this case, the use of the word world which i just used, is to describe the people, not the planet :P Its a song about how far gone we are as a people, Christians and others alike. were all lumped into the same downward spiral, but, if you listen closely, in the beginning of the song, there is an undertone of 'it doesnt have to be this way'. At least to me there is anyway [when he says his bible told him so].

This song... I heard it the first time at least five years ago, and it still stucks. I love this song, it really has a strong message, and it really makes one think, it made me think and open eyes, to just what is going on outside our own little world. Very strong! Amasing God hadn't gotten sick of us already, he really has some patiens, really... I mean thounsands of years and we still haven't learnt to get along and take care of each other...? We only think of our selves...
