i'm also yet to see the movie but the book was really good,you just want to know what the guy was really after and if he ever achieved or got to experience it. thanks for the video

i forget her name (whoops!) but in the book she isn't featured heavily just a girl in the camp he goes to who takes a shine to him and writes him letters i think( i havent read the book in ages) but in the film she plays a more important role as a sort of love interest but not really, i wont ruin it for you though! :)
@logic33157 I haven't seen the movie but I'd be inclined to think the female is Tracy, the 17 year old girl who was hanging around "making goo-goo eyes at him", from when he was with Jan Burres and Bob. (Into the Wild: Pg.44, 45 & 65)

I read the book, havent seen the movie yet.
But who's the girl in the video? (kristen stewart), by that i mean what character is she portraying? Is that supposed to be his sister or something?

@ImNextRoger Its ok i remember her now. Shes the "hippy girl", that falls for him but he never really loves her.
