  • The music is pretty nice. We would love to hear the Boss tune.

  • I had this for my ZX Spectrum 128k. Such a long time ago. The 80's had the best computer games. Speccy was amazing.

  • @monteron007 Yeah the Spectrum was the first computer I got and it remains my favourite, all good things in life began with the ZX Spectrum. =)

  • Great version of Over the Rainbow! =D

  • @Rals80 Yeah it's fantastic, really sounds great on the old AY, whoever done this done a great job with it.

  • I AM LOVING THE SEXY BACKGROUND :)

THE DEVELOPERS OF THIS GENERATION OF GAMING WERE MASTERS, THEY DONT MAKE EM LIKE THIS NO MORE :)

AWSOME TUNE THIS GAME HAS :)

  • @PheonixGamersLegacy If you think the loading screen's sexy you should see the in-game graphics - gorgeous! And quite an achivement for the humble Speccy! And the tune is awesome! Over the Rainbow never sounded so good!

  • @xJORDAN99x I know, I'm glad to have it up on my channel, it is brilliant and you are right the game is awesome on the Spectrum!

  • after all these years I still remember the music

  • @Goken02 Yeah this is instantly memorable! Awesome music!

  • One of the most colourful games on Speccy, differently than New Zealand Story - they screwed it totally making it in monochrome and very slow.

  • @Abrimaal This is awesome! You are right its very colourful! The New Zealand Story I liked as well but you're right they could have made it more colourful.

  • @Otouto72 On C64 NZL Story is in full colour, even the player sprite is in hi-res.

  • @Abrimaal I've seen the C64 version of the NZL Story and its fucking amazing! One of the better C64 arcade ports!

  • @Abrimaal I think the NZS developers did a really good job with the Speccy. It's a much more technically demanding game than Rainbow Islands so there had to be some compromises.

  • Wow this really is an excellent tune =)

  • @atrumdiabolus Yeah its a really good version of Over the Rainbow! The whole game is impressive!

  • nice tunes lawl

  • @vinnieblacklodge A cult classic! And this is a very nice port for sure I must admit!

  • ah! a true classicXD

  • @techromancer1 Totally correct dude - timeless!

  • clasic game and classic tune very nice

  • @davidhass3lh0ff Couldn't agree more - I love Rainbow Islands, I love this tune and this port is superb!

  • Somewhere over the Rainbow? Perfect fit here from Tatio but i don't remember the arcade one having this tune or other versions. Maybe am wrong.

  • @jboypacman Yep! This is Somewhere Over the Rainbow =D I was gonna include it in the description but I was expecting some sort of copyright claim like the Neverending Story on the Amstrad did but no I got away with it lol! The earlier arcade games had Over the Rainbow and then Taito changed it. Not sure of the real reason why, one source says it was to avoid copyright infringement, another says Taito had a license and it simply ran out. Make your own mind up =)

  • @jboypacman Jboy the japanese arcade version had this tune and the european home computer versions had it too, for copyright reasons the american versions got new music.

another weird one is that newzland story (taito) had the jap levels here too but the american version had different levels ?, the more the merrier i say.

  • it was also comman to see the "rastan saga" arcade here instead of just plain "rastan" another Taito game, never figured out why.

  • @ZXAmiga64 Ah ok i was wondering about this thanks. : )

  • @ZXAmiga64 Copyright it is! It does say that on Wikipedia but you be the judge as to how realiable that site is lol!
