OneDerangedManiac, half the microwaving episodes have slugs, the other post products get recycled into other artworks along the way. Some materials are going into the MALIK 11000.
I'm wondering if sending a gas mask from Chernobyl to be microwaved would be a good idea. The air filter in it still registers a reading on a Geiger counter. Small, but still.
What are welding rids usually used for? What I mean is, what purpose do they serve when doing welding work? Even though I once worked in a factory, I know very little about welding.
I know a little (just a little) About them but they have the oxidysing agents in them that melts the inside ron to weld the two pieces together. Just google it :) I love welding :)
When you weld 2 pieces together, you need something to fill in the gap between them so the rod is used to do that, and to arc on the metal to create the heat needed to melt the metal.
You see, you have a machine called a weldor with adjustments for amperage. It has cables that lead to 2 clamps. A ground clamp, and an electrode clamp. You attach the ground clamp to whatever you are working on, and put the welding rod in the electrode holder. When the rod touches the metal, it arcs and starts melting. This is what fuses the metal together.
lots of oppurtunities for pyro-related fun in welding classrooms, crank the amps up and watch how quick they sizzle away!!!! And frying insects with an oxy torch teaches you about the futility of life :p
eh, be careful - some brazing rods give off bad fumes (ie - cyanide) when the flux burns.

You need to microwave like two packs of sparklers. That would make an interesting video. I would donate but buying those is illegal here. =\

Yessacmidnight , I did a two dozen sparklers [two boxes]. Please enjoy, comment and rate five stars! Thanks.

I do not see why I couldn't microwave that as long as it is safe. I think that would be a great microwaving.
dovetastic 2 years ago
I was hoping it was 5-8 minutes long. Oh well :) I'm satisfied.

Just as good as the Wrench episode, but still okay anyway. :)

You should microwave a Nuclear Fuel Rod. Russia pretty much has them laying in the road everywhere LOL
