You should just reduce the spins of the motors in order to make it land slowly. Because right now (on this video), when you want to land it, you make a mini-crash. And that's not the right way to do it. ;)

Brilliant design but I see a flaw that'll be a serious problem for the end user. The one piece motor outrigger and PCB is great for the part count and ease of mfg but those booms will break and once broken the entire unit is rendered useless. I fly electric RC helis and have learned that parts on a vehicle of this type need to be replaceable. Carbon fibre rod could serve as arms for the motors to mount to, would be very strong, light weight, and most importantly, easily replaceable.

Eh, for about $25 you can buy a toy helicopter that's only a little bigger than this thing. While it certainly is cool that they built this, it's too big and too loud to sneak up on anything for spy work, it can't carry a payload, I don't see a tiny video camera on there to allow one to fly this thing around somewhere to survey an area... I guess I just don't see what practical application this thing has.
