  • SEXY TOo HAHA so funny!

  • she's yhe best ,God bless you Joannie

  • Shae-Lynn Bourne is very nice as well.

  • Joannie's a real sweetheart.

It's easy to see why the Canadians love her.

She's a real lady on the ice.

  • All the best to Joannie and her family. God bless.

  • Go Joannie Rochette! It's funny cuz at school we were given an assignment to do research on an athlete from the Olympics and I chose Joannie Rochette. The next day she won a bronze medal! I was so happy! lol

  • i feel that Joannie has ben unfairly marked for the bronze. Silver would have been definitely better. Joannie has given an epic performance that would have made her mom so proud to have a beautiful and a talented daughter. Call me sensitive, but I love Joannie's performance and I think she deserved to have a higher mark than just a typical third place finish- second place would have been better!

  • I wish the Olympic Committee would give Joannie an extra bronze medal that could be buried with her mom. It would be a nice thing to do.

  • As an American and an ice hockey skater, Joannie won the medal staight out. Her first performance was flawless compared to Asadas and even though she had a mishap during her second performenace, she skated beautifully. She is a tremendous young woman and a fantastic skater. Canada should be pround of her. Joannie you rocked !!!

  • She made so many mistakes than the other skaters and her performance was not even close as good to Asada`s, which I think is one great reason to why Asada is upset in the ceremony and interview. I feel sorry for Yuna and Asada especially Yuna. Her performance was flawless, yet she has to stand on the podium with Joannie who's performance was clearly full of mistakes.

  • Man, your retarded, another butthurt American. Sorry, but really? They were none the least biased, and she DESERVED IT COMPLETELY. Apparently you don't really know much of anything about how to judge the technical aspects of a skate, so let the judges do their job. Joannie won that fairly!

  • @thepack20 please judge a butthead on their buttheadedness NOT their nationality! I'm an American and couldn't have been more impressed by what Joannie has done, based both strictly on her talent but for the hellish situation she had to enjoy during what should have been a time of all joy for her.

So sorry to let you down but this American feels she definately and fairly earned a medal and I don't care for you lumping us all together OR your American insults!

  • Did not mean to offend you, my apologies. I just get very patriotic, and after all she's been through, this guy saying she doesn't deserve it got me riled up. However, I am glad you feel the same way on her deserved-ness!

  • I don`t think Joannie deserved such a high score. Yes, her mother passed away and despite of the situation Joannie didn`t give up and gave her best. But her best didn`t deserve the bronze medal and only .44points less of a difference than Asada Mao`s performance.

  • @ mrsgeeway80

Your making Canadian people look so arrogant. Stop it. Joannie made mistakes and so did Asada. Kim Yuna got her high scores because she did that well. Just because you have an amazing coach, if the skater isn't fantastic there won't be such brilliant performances like Yuna's. Asada got her scores because she did that well.

  • Sorry for Joanne's loss.

However, it is not unsympathetic or insensative to expect that all compeditors be judged without regard to factors that do not fit on the ice. This was a significant blemish on Canada, North American media and Olympic Figure Skating Commission.

    Rochette = 6th

We don't need the figure skating judges to "teach" us how to respect life or show sympathy. We need them to do their jobs without bias or prejudice. They failed terribly. Although, media, not surprized.

  • umm.. they did do their job without bias. What are you , some expert in figure skating? Just another american bellyaching because that american chick, whos preformance wasnt close to joannies technically, fell flat and ended up in 4th. boo hoo..

  • beautiful girl!

  • Not only does she have the biggest heart of our athletes, and a triumphant podium finish, but she in one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen. Magnificent performance last night! I LOVE YOU JOANNIE!!!

  • what was that sad song she danced to , this girl is amazing!

  • Samson and Delilah by C. St. Saens

  • thank you so much!! i have been looking this up for hours!

  • wow....... she is so strong........ she had an injury and still performed and in her time of grief for her mother, she still performed.....she makes me proud to be canadian!

  • im proud to say shes from the same country as me.

  • even though I'm from America I was rooting for her

  • haha, this was such a cute interview! :D

God bless her in this difficult time during the Olympics

  • sorry to hear about your mother. good luck out there

  • Say Kim to the Yeon to the A

  • I love Joannie's program this year. Awesome song choice Joannie!!
