The wigger Eminem kid was the worst part of this movie. I mean, most of the acting sucked already but that kid took the cake. Totally ruined it with his stupid speech to the principle during the shooting.
IMO I like the movie very much. The actos did a really great job and Gus van Sant as well. I don't think that the movie is boring. If it is boring, I would not have won prices. It's very close to reality and shocking. It's interesting how the characters spend their day before the massacre and what do you want to tell about the shooters? There's not much to tell. I also like it that it is an open end where you don't know who gets shot. A well done movie!

c'mon you guys.. the reason why it seems so boring is because it is a realistic depiction of a school shooting. we see things like this dramatized all the time in movies, where there's a storyline and emotion and sympathy and whatnot. gus van sant wanted to tell it how it is. the shooters don't need a backstory because it is unrealistic. like in real life, there is no resolution in this film; it just ends as cold and empty as it began.. such is life
