Dodge Challenger SRT8 vs. Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS - 1/4 mile

First off...I owned an 06 Impala SS with the 5.3 there is no way that monte was an SS not even an LTZ with the 3.9 with 242 hp...it was an LT with 200 hp running 15.8? My 06 Impala with cat back and an air filter would run with that Challenger to maybe 50 mph or so but then pull away but with 426 advertised HP I wouldnt expect to beat it. For fuel economy the dodge's have a shit rear gear ration so they are slow out of the hole I almost bought a charger RT back in 05 for the 06 it was terrible

SRT8? v what model monte? 3.8 3.8SC or the v8? looks like the 3.8 to me judging from the bumpers. That said, I think this video just got me off vipers and on corvettes. I have an 01ss w slp exhaust, k&n airfilter, magnaflow cat I got my ass SMOKED by one of those honda wanna be BMW Z coupes. I've never been so embarrased! My point is Monte's are SLOW! SRT8 is what 400 HP? Pure crap!

probably the 6.1l challenger vs. dont quote me but the 5.3l monte carlo. obviously the challenger won....bring back the monte carlo and lets see how the challenger competes with a fully redesigned monte!

that's a halfway decent time for the monte... if it's N/A, completely stock, and in street trim.
