i'm really loving the look of this game but this weapon is one thing which needs to be improved. The so called "heavy" weapon is about as big as the lancer from gears :P plus it looks like a fucking water pistol... or maybe i'm wrong... maybe it is a water pistol, and you can use various liquid based ammunition types for it such as liquid nitrogen to freeze opponents or sulphuric acid or maybe just lemon juice if you've spent all your money on alien hookers and cant afford the meatier stuff :)

I believe the big guns use ammunition in this one, the taunts are better than the other ones in ME1 though, they remind me more of Unreal Tournament's taunts though.

yeah i got bored of the battle cries, but the weapon is nice, plus it has an ammo limit, it may be less in the final release. perhaps just for this mission it's overpowered, but i bet there will be harder missions when you wish you had a nuke launcher.

the ammo is only for the heavy guns. your standard assualt rifle will use a magazine but will still have unlimited ammo

Yeah definitely. As an example, the CoD games always were ridiculous on the hardest difficulty because for one thing apparently the war and the battle revolves on one man (the player) and of course limitless enemies until you cross this invisible line in the levels. On ME, it's possible to play the game using basic weaponry (not armor, you'll get downed way too easily). I've played a soldier and adept using only starting weapons. It can be ridiculous if you're not prepared, but it's manageable.

you still have unlimited ammo for assault rifles etc. but instead of having to wait for it to cool down when you use it excessively, you can just press a button to restore it.

And the heavy weapons are only meant to be used in a tight spot, so they have limited ammo so the game isn't too easy.

Unreal Tournament 3, for example, is a technically perfect game. Great physics, great graphics, great fun.

Resistance 2. Metal Gear Solid 4. Halo 3. Gears of War 2. GTA4. Please, man, no diagonally running animation is just sickening. Not only that, look at the gore in Fallout 3. If you tear someone in pieces, theyre gonna be gushy and soft, not like theyre made of concrete.

Oblivion IS a great game, but its greatnes is also in the technical flaws, BIG ones. Its FULL of bugs. I lost count just how many times I had to reintall it.

But the mods make it a fairly amazing game. Menu mods, combat mods, weapon and armor mods and texture mods. Those 4 types of mods improve Oblivion in almost every way, along with a few bug fixes and camera views.

Bottom line, oblivion sucks as ART, rocks as entertainment.

Well, I know I wouldnt. Free roam doesnt equal replayability man, that's one thing Ive learned from buying Fallout 3 and Far Cry 2. When I finished them, I had NO wish of going back and playing more. Cept for FC2 multiplayer, which is fun, but with shitty servers and matchmaking.

Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is the most replayable game I play. Got it since launch, and until this day I play Terrorist Hunt on the couch with my brother.

Now I only buy replayable games, like Red Faction Guerrilla, too.

Not really. It is for me, not for most people. Most people would beat it twice, play the multiplayer for a few days and put it away. It doesn't have an everlasting mode like Resistance 2's coop campaign or Red Faction Guerrilla's Wrecking Crew. Those are games I will own until their sequels come out.
