There is an abundance of people commenting on this video who have no idea what they're talking about. This is perfect DIY mod rock, so if you're going to criticise this then you might as well go rip on the early work of the beatles, but in my opinion, that's a long way to go to find out you're wrong. So, basically if you're here to criticise, shut up.
No one thinks that "the dude from The Kingsmen had perfect vocal technique". Perfection in rock'n'roll music, to me, means sterile, boring and passionless. I'd rather hear imperfect singing that's exciting than perfect pitch singing that bores the crap out of me.

I went to Europe ten years ago. I imagine they still have the same shit now that they had then! David Hasslehoff is big as a singer in Germany. Touring Europe doesn't mean shit!!!

@ripvanWinkleish You would have to admit, it is a situation that needs to be addressed. In the set that I watched, there were 2 singers, both of them were OK, passable, but I'm sorry, 2 reasonable singers don't add up to one good singer. I agree that it does suit the sound, and you'll get away with it for a few songs but I just think you are pushing it to get through a full show, you aren't doing justice to some of your songs IMO.
If you don't like critiques, bad luck, this is an open forum.
this vocalist sounds like teh oldies... great for this type of music. Probably, it would be better with more production work in the studio. But i wouldnt like as much.
@gotleft I think the vocals are fine...they aren't perfect...but it adds to what they're aiming for...a teenage 60s garage band...those guys couldn't sing either.
