Why can they just re-adapt the whole novel back into a drama? I love OVAs but since technology has advanced it seems it would be a bit cheaper to make a whole first season. Hell, they could use the same style of art work from the OVA, or a visual novel styled coloration. It's possible. But I am still happy with an OVA, anime is anime regardless. It is over awesome to watch. At least I am not some comic (crap cartoon) fag talking like a fucking moron..

I enjoy watching both dubbed and subbed anime. I am afraid of the dubbed version. Rurouni Kenshin was pretty well dubbed, but when they re-dubbed the series as Samurai X, it was the most sickening thing I have ever exposed my ears to.

@seiryuu81486 wait a minute, Samurai X was the Sony Dub, which is a lot older than the Rurouni Kenshin dub we all knew when it came on Toonami, which was the most recent dub done by Media Blasters. The Media Blasters dub is more popular because they kept the story intact, unlike it's older bullshit brother Sony dub.

@barcakid101 The Sony Dub was done by Sony and they renamed the show "Samurai X". The voice acting was laughably HORRIBLE and they changed the names of the characters and story. If you dare watch it its uploaded here on youtube by the user "Crackle".

The Mediablasters english dub on the other hand is EXCELLENTLY acted and the script is accurate and is by far the preferred dub. Its the real one that came on Toonami back in the day.

From what I have heard is that they are doing this ova, and then they are rebooting the anime to fit with the manga, as well as another new series based on the disease and death of kenshin. Which was vaguely mentioned to us in the last ova the shishihouen ova. However this is what I have been told (from my own source) if this is correct then rejoice all kenshin and anime fans.

The Original story of Kenshin is series and happy till the end of Jinchuu arc's last manga chapter. So yeah, THAT is the original 'good and right' ending.

Though the manga is bloody and gory...but it is better to be that than see nudity and rape. Though I don't mind nudity, if the idea is proper (a good example is, the manga ver. of tenjou tenge, but that is twisted too eventually ;[ ).Kenshin is hardcore b/c of its philosophy,ideology and truth behind human existence.No anime recently has shown such action yet.
