@kellydejong Yeah you are hearing correctly. But she is in fact, adding melodic ornamentation to it... if you're not a douche like I am :P then like, she's putting her own spin on it... actually I don't think that's ornamentation... but yeah I think she's just decorating it more :D

I think Joanna's an ok Kim, but Lea definetly sounds a lot better and passionate. As for Ruthie, she sounds great here! Maybe not as great as Claire, but still pretty damn good! ;D

This is my favorite Miss Saigon song. I like Joanna Ampil's interpretations and singing in some of the other songs such as her showdown with Thuy, Movie in my Mind, Finale. Not so much on this song. Lea set the bar high on this one. Ruthie is the highlight on this one, just my opinion.
