By the way, the fairies are super hard to get in Real Battle Phase 02. Am I right?

@AZDA9S Yeah, I believe so and Micluses are also harder to get however I did discovered one Miclus and a couple of fairies and I don't know how I did it. I was just trying to survive th whole level and all those huge tanks and planes! By the way, I did a double play on RFJ to make it this far (Meaning I set the controls on Player 2 to match Player 1) If I didn't set the lives to 9 and Bombs to 7, then I wouldn't made it to the true final boss.

For me, Miclus are way easier than the fairies. I tell you why.

All of the fairies in RBP02 (over 10) are in the blue large tanks. You have to blow their top off and keep them alive until the fairy pops out from that tank. Very hard since all the incoming fire from just about everywhere are directed at you.

Miclus on the other hand (3) are in (what I like to call) the storage houses with lights on the left. Making them appear isn't as hard as the fairies.

I beat this game again, but this time, without continuing! I lost some lives before and during the final battle with the XTF-1, though, one against the tank mini-boss, another against the XTF-1 itself.

@AZDA9S I can't get to REal Battle Phase 01. The shots are sometimes impossible to dodge. I kept trying and trying but no luck... so I unlocked the Boss Rush mode and that's the only way I can reach the True last Boss despite of lives lost during gameplay.

@AZDA9S I used the Aegis IV on the training missions. Then I used the Ixion but still carried the Aegis IV's powers in the final battle. I got through the training mission by charging my weapon.

How sadistic can these game programmers get? First, they expect me to beat Raiden Fighters 2: Operation Hell Dive on Normal without continuing, and now they expect me to do that crap just to reach this boss?

Downside.....I used 2 Raiden Mk.II Beta Ships and Slowed Down the Game Considerably. like at about 20 - 30 FPS

I remember when I blew apart that massive tank in RFJ and thought, "God, that was such a hard final boss, I'm glad I managed to...is that a fairy? Don't mid-bosses drop fairies? OH GOD FFFFFFFF"

Weird eh? This takes place in the sky where you are chasing the true Boss of the game. The reason the player chases it is because the true Boss is trying to bomb the hell out of some poor rural area. The true Boss is very hard.

that looks the same like it happened in reflex before on the game start that the first boss comes then throws a bomb to your base XD

after that you chase him down then after you cause him a very big damage he escapes XD

The Virgo Boss already do them in and you chase him.

But in RFJ you HAVE to destroy him before he gets to do that. There's a surprise when you destroy him.

Oh dear what's wrong with me.

I forgot to say all three are released in one package (Raiden Fighters Aces) on Xbox 360 at $29.99 USD. I have it and love it. Still trying to improve. SFKhoa, dodonpachi, and others have the high rankings last time I checked on Xbox Live. SFKhoa have a video here on YouTube on RF.

If you can't get a Xbox 360, you could try to find the individual arcade versions on Emulators if you into it...be careful of course.
