@dan32113 well my mother and grandmother and 7 aunts and uncles and cousins are from Cork city. i lived there 5 yrs. knowing countless people, teenage and mid twenties, hearing ould fellas out in the pub, and other family members from rural cork, i can tell you that there are plenty of people who sound like this. obviously tommy tiernan is exaggerating a little because it is comedy, but its not far off the mark. plus they do think that they are the centre of the world, most of them.
